12/07/2024: Very nice place. Were up there on a beautiful sunny day. The terrace is already quite full, but there is a place to sit if you ask nicely. Service very friendly, quick and efficient. We really enjoyed the food, as did the house wine.

02/06/2024: Incredibly good food in a place you probably wouldn't look for it. This great restaurant is hidden a little away from the towns and with a beautiful view of the mountains. When we arrived there were no free seats. The young waitress was very friendly and asked us to wait a while because she suspected that a table would soon become available. After a short time we had our table. The prices are great and the portions are very reasonable. We had the beef goulash and dessert, everything was very tasty. We can highly recommend the restaurant.
31/05/2024: We ate here in a larger group with children! Everything was perfect and exceptionally delicious!

11/08/2024: Very nice service and great food! There is a playroom for children on the first floor and a play area for smaller children downstairs. Our children [7 and 11 years old] were always very happy and kept themselves busy on the first floor and we were able to end the day relaxing. There is seating outside and inside, and you can bring dogs. We always made reservations by phone, it worked great, there were 7 of us.

27/06/2024: If you take the Jochtalbahn up, you should definitely visit the Ochsenalm. Rustic ambience as you wish. Delicious drinks and food. The three types of dumplings are recommended. Then lie down...
You can sit outside with your back to the hut and look out over the beautiful landscape.

19/08/2024: An amazing place. Reaching it by foot makes you enjoy even more. Everything we ate tasted wonderful. The goulash with speck dumplings was a highlight. And an ever present Forst.
17/08/2024: Small but beautiful mountain hut, in an enchanting place, I stopped for breakfast during the climb to the Seefeld peak. Excellent service, fantastic plum cake

27/01/2024: Ottima la loro pentola Jocktal, pasta con pomodoro , funghi, pancetta, e pepe, davvero buona , siciramente la consiglio. Buoni anche i caneserli al formaggio, con burro fuso e parmigiano, birra alla spina ok.Prezzi nella media.
03/01/2024: Die Mühle in Vals ist ein tolles Restaurant. Das Essen ist lecker, die Preise ortsüblich und das Personal nett. Zu den Stoßzeiten ist es allerdings meist sehr voll. Mittags durch Skifahrer und Abends durch Urlauber, da in den letzten Jahren viele Unterkünfte ihr Abendessen-Angebot eingestellt haben.

31/07/2023: Torniamo ogni anno in questa Malga. Il cibo è ottimo, porzioni soddisfacenti, prezzi buoni e meno cari rispetto ad altre realtà vicine. Con noi sempre gentili e anche stavolta hanno chiesto se tutto era buono: certamente… peccato non poterci tornare più volte. Maranza è bellissima e bisogna girare tutti i sentieri.
21/07/2023: Hütte tra la stazione a monte e quella intermedia della cabinovia Gitschberg. Cibo buono e prezzi nella media. Noi abbiamo mangiato la zuppa di gulasch , speck uova e patate e i ravioli ripieni fatti in casa, tutto buono.
Bellissimo il panorama.
Cordialità da migliorare, qualche sorriso in più non guasterebbe, a volte sembra che gli dai fastidio, se accettate il suggerimento migliorate questo aspetto, per il resto tutto bene.

03/09/2023: Baita facile da raggiungere, subito sotto la fermata della funivia. Ci sono stato sia d'inverno che d'estate e devo dire che la sostanza non cambia. Personale cortese e professionale, cibo molto buono e panorama mozzafiato. Consigliatissimo!

23/02/2024: Ich bin sprachlos. Hab schon so viele Skihütten besucht. Diese hier schlägt vieles in den Wind. Toller Service. Absolut unkompliziert. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ok, kein toller Ausblick über die Berggipfel, man sitzt direkt an der Piste im Wald und ja, die Sonne geht tatsächlich vor Mitternacht unter. Aber erst knapp davor. ;-) Leckere Speisen mit herzlichem Service gebracht.
16/02/2024: Die Hütte liegt direkt an der Skipiste und hat eine schöne Terrasse. Es gibt nur wenige Plätze aber dafür auch keine Partymusik wie an den größeren Hütten oben am Berg.
Das Essen war sehr lecker und für eine Berghütte im Skigebiet preislich ok.
Das Personal war trotz vieler Gäste entspannt und freundlich.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.

01/03/2024: Ci torno tutti gli anni, perchè oltre a essere in un luogo meraviglioso (All'interno della Valle Altafossa) si mangia bene e organizzano sempre serate speciali (menù fonduta, serate in musica, transfer con motoslitta ecc) E'stato rinnovato l'anno scorso negli spazi comuni e cucina, Christian è un proprietario gentile e disponibile, consiglio a tutti questa bella baita di montagna.
25/02/2024: Kaiserschmarren excellent, sowie Käse Schinkenplatte absolut Empfehlenswert. Wir waren bereits im Sommer im Tal und in der Hütte
