Had a lunch break after a tough climb and after seeing the splendid Pyramids of Terra di Perca... As for me, I had a really good venison carpaccio (I'm sorry for him), excellent paired with rocket, parmesan flakes, mushrooms in oil and a very strong sauce of horseradish and cranberries, very good, then I had a nice portion of ricotta strudel which was also truly exceptional and to drink I took the mountain pine juice made by them, it was so good and thirst-quenching that I drank two nice glasses of it, a delicate taste, not too sweet, very particular and thirst-quenching above all, it seems to have the forest in the glass because it is also fragrant... But 5 stars are not enough, we would like at least 5 more more... Place enchanting at 1985 m above sea level, really worth the effort on foot, priceless panorama... Top Top Top!!! Compliments!!!

Welcomed by the very kind staff we tried a trio of cakes among the many they have available.

21/08/2024: A very nice, small and quiet hotel. The rooms are new and very tastefully decorated. The sauna area is also inviting and you can relax really well, we had some of it all to ourselves.
Particularly noteworthy is the great service from the host family, very warm and attentive. The kitchen is outstanding, the menu in the evening was a culinary highlight!

16/08/2024: We returned for the second time and the opinion is always very positive. Despite being on the highway, it is a comfortable restaurant with excellent cuisine and very friendly staff. They recommended some excellent tagliatelle with fresh chanterelles and the choice proved to be a winning one! Excellent and plentiful dish. Also for our grandson an excellent plate of tortelli with ricotta and spinach. Quality/quantity/price ratio ok 👍🏻

20/08/2024: Very characteristic hut in a beautiful environment and easy to reach. The walk from the Wielental car park, just before the junction for the earth pyramids, is slightly sloping for the first 5-10 minutes then it softens and is really pleasant. Excellent typical food, generous portions and very kind staff. Bring cash as the POS is not available (at least until August 2024).
14/08/2024: Beautiful mountain hut in a strategic position. Average food. Average account. Terrible service: very disorganised, they don't even have numbers at the tables so the two waitresses got the orders mixed up. It took us 40 minutes to get the right drink order. They cleared the table of the glasses of those who were there before us after 1 hour and 20 minutes. For the food it took more than an hour with the excuse of "we only have one chef" even if there wasn't a full house. The waitresses warn you that you will have to wait but not how long and above all they cannot give you updates on the wait after you have ordered. It's really a shame, a disservice like this has never happened to me in any mountain hut in South Tyrol.

11/08/2024: Location: Situata nei pressi della stazione a monte di Plan de Corones, la struttura è ben tenuta e dispone di ampi spazi anche esterni, ideali per godersi l'aria fresca di montagna.
Menù: Offre una proposta prettamente turistica, ma rispettosa delle tradizioni locali, con piatti che riflettono la cucina del territorio.
Servizio: Cortese, veloce ed efficace, garantisce un'esperienza piacevole e senza attese prolungate.
Conto: In linea con i prezzi della zona, risultando equo rispetto all'offerta.

Personale gentile e cordiale, servizio veloce e cibo buono inclusi i dolci.
Abbiamo mangiato salsiccia e patatine, canederli in brodo, maccheroni del pastore. Come dolce le frittelle di mele oltre le bevande. Prezzi onesti per la località, circa 20 euro a persona. Accettano le carte; siamo rimasti soddisfatti, consigliato.

28/07/2024: Questa mattina abbiamo fatto una bellissima camminata partendo da Villa di Sopra in mezzo ai boschi per una dozzina di chilometri arrivando fino alla Malga Haidacher
Arrivati alla Malga dopo due ore di camminata ci siamo ristorati
Piatti semplici molto buoni a partire dai canederli al formaggio , agli spinaci e allo speck, alla polenta con il ragù e polenta con il goulasc, per finire uno stupendo strudel appena sfornato INCANTEVOLE
Giornata stupenda.Ora siamo in hotel a prendere sole

14/07/2024: Per arrivare alla Malga Haidacher occorre fare una bella passeggiata nel bosco di oltre 5 km. La malga è rimasta quella di una volta, con un menù di pochi piatti, ma tutti veramente genuini e della tradizione pusterese. Ottimi i canederli, forse i più buoni che abbiamo mai mangiato. Buonissimo tutto il resto, con una spesa giusta. Simpaticissimo il cuoco Wolfsgruber, che mi ha anchedato la ricetta degli ottimi canederli.
