02/10/2025: They made an effort to get us a seat. The food was okay; there are definitely better shepherd's macaroni.
The salad buffet was very small, and the iceberg lettuce didn't look fresh. The dressing wasn't great either.
The service was very impersonal, everything was very fast.
We finished eating, our drinks were also empty, and there was no service staff to be seen (in the next room).
My husband went to the counter to pay and was told they would send us a lady.
She came!
She didn't even ask us if we liked the food. Sad 😢.
We paid, but it wasn't a nice evening or a thank you, nothing.
It was just a tourist service!!!!
30/09/2025: Very friendly and prompt service. The two of us, without a reservation, managed to get a seat in the adjoining room even though the restaurant was packed. The pizzas and Zwickl beer are excellent. Everything is highly recommended.

Nice seating both inside where it's warm and outside in the shade.

17/08/2025: Beautiful holiday spot with rustic accommodation in an old farmhouse including a renovated bathroom, a fantastic view, a very friendly host family, delicious food, and, most delightfully for me: a curious kitten and a friendly dog. Thank you very much!
24/06/2025: A wonderful farm to relax on. The view is breathtaking. One thing to keep in mind: It takes 20 minutes by car from the bottom to the farm. A wonderful place to stay, one you won't forget.

09/10/2025: The good reviews made us eagerly anticipate the country inn. However, my dumpling trio was rather hard and dry. And the grilled meats weren't very juicy either.
Unfortunately, we wouldn't go back.

14/10/2025: We stayed at the hotel for three nights on our motorcycle tour. Excellent service, super hospitality, everything was perfect.
The host even drove us in his own car to a restaurant where we enjoyed Törggelen (traditional German Törggelen).

26/10/2025: Galmain Hof offers its guests traditional dishes, well-cooked, wholesome, with authentic flavors and generous portions at a fair price. The service is extremely friendly, and the view from the terrace is fantastic. It's just a half-hour walk from the Unterstell cable car mountain station, along a section of the "Alta Via di Merano" trail, passing by the new Skywalk.
Please note: they don't have ATMs; payment is cash only!

18/11/2025: We ate there twice for dinner – a fantastic location! The food was excellent! Booking a table was very easy. The service was very friendly. There's also more than enough parking. The children's play area is also very well located and equipped. A great place to go if you're near Naturno.

Splendid decor and layout, excellent food. Fish is also on the menu, when available.
Very friendly staff.
The only place I've seen in Alto Adige that's open every day.

06/12/2025: I really enjoyed breakfast because I ate traditional dishes. The room was dated but had everything I needed. The restaurant was nice, but I didn't use it. The only downside is that the soundproofing leaves a lot to be desired, both inside and out (a shame).

The breakfast was excellent, very good, with all the typical products.
Just 15 minutes from the center of Merano, so relatively close, with dining options in a welcoming space.
