A perfect place to breathe deeply, recharge, and enjoy – ideal as a destination or break during a hike. Highly recommended.

08/03/2026: My boyfriend and I ate here twice during our stay. I have to say that both the traditional food and the pizza were delicious, and the staff was always very friendly. A word of caution about their goulash: don't expect typical Tyrolean goulash, because theirs is HUNGARIAN, but I still recommend it because it's delicious!

The owner is approachable, knowledgeable about wines, and an excellent cocktail server. The staff is helpful, friendly, and very courteous. Definitely worth a try.

03/10/2025: We spent a wonderful evening at the Umser Mühlele. The ambiance is truly wonderful, and the service was super friendly. We had three courses, and everything was excellently prepared and presented. The quality is evident in every dish. We felt completely at home and will definitely be back. Card payments are no problem.

07/03/2026: We happened to stop here for a meal on our way and were absolutely delighted! It's charmingly rustic, the service is very attentive, and the food is incredibly delicious. I'm sure the terrace has a lovely view in the summer. Highly recommended!

15/01/2026: Review of the restaurant. The farm is beautiful: everything was meticulously cared for, down to the smallest details. The dinner was excellent, with generous portions: the polenta dumplings stuffed with cheese and the potato and mushroom soup accompanied by a mini venison burger were excellent! The staff were extremely kind and even welcomed our large dog (which was delicious) without any problems. We definitely want to return in the summer, booking our accommodation directly as well! Well done!!!

20/02/2026: We had the cheese dumplings with salad from today's special. Absolutely delicious! To round it off, we also had the apple strudel with cream. We would definitely order both again. We'll gladly come back.

03/02/2026: Friendly and helpful staff.... Stunning location on the lakeside. On a negative note: We had two cutlets and fries on the side... ZERO rating €20 each! What a shame...

14/09/2025: I've been to the Sesselschwaige a few times this year, which was newly managed this year. Why a few times? Because the staff is very friendly and attentive to their guests. The food was excellent, I can only recommend it. The cakes are also very delicious. The prices are a bit higher compared to other huts, but considering that the food is regularly airlifted up, I think the prices are really justified. 👍🏻 I can only recommend it. 😊

28/10/2025: We stayed at this hotel in September 2025. Everything was very nice. What bothered us was that only regular guests received a warm welcome, and otherwise, only regular guests were spoken to. We would have appreciated it if the staff had also taken the time to chat with newly arrived guests who were staying at the hotel for the first time. Perhaps such guests would become regulars themselves. P.S.: A smile should be made on the young man at the bar.

21/02/2026: We spent a short trip there. We were able to relax very well and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The spa area was lovely and the food was first-class.

19/02/2026: We’ve just finished a four-night stay and it was honestly one of the best trips we’ve ever had. The views across the valley — especially the white-tipped mountains in the distance — were absolutely phenomenal. The art and interiors throughout the communal areas were beautiful: lovely lighting, gorgeous furniture, and a really cosy yet social atmosphere. We stayed half board and the food was absolutely delicious. The sauna and steam setup — particularly the regular sauna ritual they offer — was phenomenal after a day of skiing. But the biggest highlight was the staff. They were incredibly warm, thoughtful, and consistently went above and beyond anything we could have expected. Truly fantastic service. We came primarily to ski and the location is super convenient for Seiser Alm — very quick and easy. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip and are already planning our next visit. Thank you so much for having us.

09/07/2025: Super cheerful girls, they always welcome you with a smile. I go every morning for coffee before work, and they always have a kind word for everyone. Excellent food and coffee, just the way I like it—a macchiato with lots of foam. Highly recommended! 👌

03/07/2025: Die Ambiente und Location ist traumhaft schön, das Personal sehr nett, das Essen war auch sehr gut, also eigentlich ein 5 Sterne wenn nicht: - der speziell reservierte Tisch nicht frei war - wir erst um 20:30 Uhr einen Tisch bekommen haben fuer eine 20:00 Uhr Reservierung - die Bedienungen total unorganisiert waren, Wasser bestellt bei einer Bedienung andere Bedienung Wasser gebracht ohne Gläser, ständig nicht bestellte Sachen angeboten bekommen....wie gesagt alle sehr nett aber es gibt keine Absprache untereinander - Um 21:50 wollten wir noch einen Nachtisch bestellen dann wurde uns gesagt die Küche ist geschlossen. Also, das geht gar nicht. Es ist ja schliesslich kein Fastfood Restaurant, bei den Preisen und wie das Restaurant sich darstellt kann man nicht den Gästen um 21:50 sagen das es keinen Nachtisch mehr bekommt. Da muss auf jeden Fall noch daran gearbeitet werden.
