30/09/2025: Super friendly owners and staff. Great food.

24/09/2025: On Tuesday evening, the dining room was packed, and I walked in and spontaneously ordered a takeaway pizza. The manager took care of it immediately, offered me a drink at the bar, and in 10 minutes, the whole thing was done. I take my hat off to this excellent service. The pizza was also great. Anywhere else, I probably would have been turned away.

10/09/2025: The most delicious Kaiserschmarrn ever! Perfectly cooked, crispy, and with plenty of vanilla sugar. A generous portion. It's a shame the staff wear gray dresses; there are so many prettier, more cheerful dirndl colors.

01/10/2025: Are five stars enough when everything, absolutely everything, is just right? The holiday apartment is tastefully and timelessly furnished, fully equipped, absolutely clean, and well-maintained. The food at the Laitnkeller is of outstanding quality, evidently prepared with love from local resources. But the best part is the hospitality of the Obkircher family. Every member strives to anticipate the guests' wishes and make their stay a thoroughly enjoyable one. Guntschölerhof and Laitnkeller: far over the top!

05/10/2025: The menu is very small; it's not published on their website. It has many dishes with entrails. At night, the road to the restaurant is very dangerous because it's very small and unlit.

03/10/2025: We spent a wonderful evening at the Umser Mühlele. The ambiance is truly wonderful, and the service was super friendly. We had three courses, and everything was excellently prepared and presented. The quality is evident in every dish. We felt completely at home and will definitely be back. Card payments are no problem.

19/09/2025: We visited the Pitschnann restaurant twice, and my wife and I were very pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is very rustic and stylishly decorated and also has a large terrace. From the dining room, you can see the stables through large panoramic windows—completely odorless and noiseless, of course. Both the food and drinks are regional and excellently prepared. By the way, if you love Neapolitan pizza, this is the place for you. The staff is very friendly. And there's plenty of parking. Highly recommended. 🫶

10/09/2025: The food was very good, and the portions were plentiful and larger than in many other restaurants. The service was incredibly friendly and personable. We would definitely come back. This restaurant is definitely on our list for our next visit to South Tyrol. The ambiance is very pleasant, and the aromas are wonderful.

14/09/2025: I've been to the Sesselschwaige a few times this year, which was newly managed this year. Why a few times? Because the staff is very friendly and attentive to their guests. The food was excellent, I can only recommend it. The cakes are also very delicious. The prices are a bit higher compared to other huts, but considering that the food is regularly airlifted up, I think the prices are really justified. 👍🏻 I can only recommend it. 😊

29/06/2025: A direct hit! The Innerperskoler Hof is one of the best and most beautiful wine taverns I've ever visited. No, it's the best and most beautiful. Everything is just perfect here: the super friendly and attentive young lady serving, the breathtaking view, the ambiance – characterized by the homemade rustic wooden furniture, a great sense of hospitality, friendliness, and local connection – and, of course, the excellent food and sparkling drinks. Absolutely perfect and authentic! My wife enjoyed the homemade tagliatelle with herb pesto from the farm garden, while I was served a dumpling trio that is second to none. It came with a fresh salad and affogato for dessert. The meal was accompanied by an aperitif and the delicious house wine (Pinot Blanc); not to mention the homemade bread. Fabulous. Our dog, Ivy, was also very spoiled and was given a large pot of water without asking. We actually planned to stop at the Innerperskoler Hof again on Thursday evening to round off our vacation. Unfortunately, we overlooked the fact that Thursday is one of the hotel's days off. But if we ever come back to the Schlern area, a second visit is a must. Keep up the good work, and thank you very much.

06/08/2025: A wonderful place with fragrant hay in the sensational hay bath! Wonderful for relaxation, beautiful meadows, authentic local culture… a house where I always enjoy returning.

02/07/2025: We stayed at the Hotel Heubad last week and felt very comfortable in our beautiful room. The hotel offers an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, massages, and much more. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and competent. Breakfast was excellent, and the 5-course dinner left nothing to be desired – delicious wines rounded off the experience. The free bus service takes you to hiking areas and towns like Bolzano or Bressanone. For us, it was pure relaxation.

11/08/2025: My first time at the Waldsee Hotel was a lovely surprise. Mrs. Judit was empathetic, always courteous, and helpful. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. In the evening, dinner is served outdoors, adding further value to an already splendid location. The proximity to the popular Fiè lakes doesn't bother guests; the after-dinner stroll to the lake was a wonderful daily experience for us. You truly feel immersed in nature, and it's an ideal starting point for excursions that cater to all tastes. Breakfast and dinner were excellent; we appreciated the quality of the food. It's definitely a delightful experience worth repeating.

07/08/2025: **Hotel Review** We discovered the hotel in the fall of 2024 while on a hike. At that time, it was either under renovation or simply closed. We definitely wanted to spend a week here in the summer, as the surrounding area is truly charming. The hotel's location is undoubtedly a major advantage. There are countless hiking trails and breathtaking views that make a stay worthwhile. However, we were disappointed with the rooms. They seem dated and could desperately use a refresh. While we weren't surprised, as we had already gotten a first impression from our initial exploration, we would have appreciated a bit of modernization. The staff was very attentive and friendly at the beginning of our stay, but this attention dwindled over time. The breakfast was average and offered no special highlights. They tried to make dinner at the hotel appealing to us, but since there are many other restaurants nearby, we ultimately decided against it. One thing that particularly bothered us was the negative reaction of some guests to our children. Many families were present, and while the children were observing and carefully catching lizards, a woman verbally attacked them. Our children never harmed the animals and always released them. Such behavior is unacceptable and spoils the atmosphere, which is intended for a family vacation. The spa and pool are decent and offer welcome relaxation after our hikes. In summary, we will definitely visit the area again, but not at this hotel. The location is beautiful, but the dated rooms and the mixed atmosphere among the guests make us think of other accommodations.

10/09/2025: Great place and everybody is super nice. The spa was incredible and the gym was great. The only thing I would add is if you're American just be aware that the steam rooms are mostly nude and coed. A little bit shocking coming from the United States, but my wife and I didn't really have any issues after the first 15 minutes of getting used to it. We would definitely go back.

10/09/2025: We didn't sleep there, but we ate in the charming, traditional restaurant. The service was friendly and welcoming. Delicious food, a great menu and wine list. We'll definitely be back when we're in Castelrotto/Kastelruth.
