04/01/2025: The food was simply outstanding! The quality of the food was excellent and everything tasted delicious. The service was also first class - the employees were very attentive and implemented our wishes perfectly. The restaurant is relatively small, which makes it even more attractive as it creates a particularly pleasant and cozy atmosphere. The furnishings are tasteful and fit wonderfully with the concept of the house. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right - the food is of excellent quality and the price is more than justified. The daily dishes off the menu are particularly impressive, such as the meat from our own hunt, which was as tender as butter and delighted us. A little tip: Due to limited places, you should reserve well in advance. It is practical that there is free parking right in front of the door. We would love to come back and can fully recommend this restaurant!

12/01/2025: We only went for lunch and didn't stay overnight. Eating coleslaw with bacon and tagliatelle with ragout was very tasty. Very friendly staff. Can't say anything about the overnight stay and the room.

13/01/2025: Excellent hotel in a convenient location for travel (Bolzano 20 minutes away, as is the Alpe di Siusi). Large and comfortable rooms. The fact of having two bathrooms was much appreciated, one with a shower and sink and the other with a bidet, toilet and another small sink. The only small flaw was that the pillows were too low, but to be honest we didn't ask if they had any others. The SPA is very beautiful with Turkish bath, classic sauna, hay sauna, relaxation area, gym and indoor swimming pool. In summer there is also an outdoor swimming pool. We also really enjoyed the restaurant. In the three days of our stay, the three dinners were always excellent, with various dishes well cooked and well presented. Very efficient and friendly staff. There were 10 of us and a room was reserved just for us. A special thanks to Erica who served and pampered us with diligence and joy. In conclusion, highly recommended!

12/01/2025: The Heubad is a hotel that won us over from every point of view, leaving us with a truly special memory. Our room, measuring over 40 square meters, was incredibly spacious, well furnished and equipped with all the comforts needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay. Every detail was taken care of, making the environment welcoming and refined. The SPA department was also an element that deeply impressed us: large, modern and well organised, it offers a variety of saunas to satisfy every need. It is the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate after a day of activity, thanks to the combination of relaxing environments and high-quality services. The cuisine, then, turned out to be a real surprise. The dishes offered are not only excellent, but also carefully presented. The wine list is very interesting. In summary, the Heubad is a place that we warmly recommend to those looking for a holiday of relaxation, comfort and good food, in a welcoming, quality atmosphere.

24/10/2024: I have to say in advance that we are restaurateurs and have different perspectives. Service friendly, accommodating, absolutely great. Cuisine, rarely eaten so well in South Tyrol. We can absolutely recommend it and if it works, we will come back. We had Deer with apples and Schupfnufel Pasta with tuna Port. Gnocchi for the junior Everything was well seasoned, nicely prepared, hot enough,... Recommended

03/11/2024: The hotel is in a wonderful and idyllic location, near the Völser Weiher in the middle of the forest. We spent our hiking holiday here. You can walk straight from the hotel and reach numerous great hiking and excursion destinations from there. The modern wellness area offers plenty of space and comfort. The rooms are super comfortable, big enough, with a balcony and we even had a mountain view. Due to its somewhat remote location, it is incredibly quiet and perfect for relaxing. The staff was always friendly and helpful to us. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic and always very filling. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to the next time!

06/10/2024: As you drive onto the property you are impressed by the garden and the surrounding landscape. For a 3-star hotel, excellent cuisine is served by the host as head chef. What is even more surprising is the beautiful indoor swimming pool, which can be reached through an underground passage. Unfortunately, it must be mentioned that the bottle of white wine is always served warm. That doesn't match the asking prices at all. In addition, there is no price list for other drinks in the guest room. It should also be mentioned that it is not considered necessary to install the shower gel bottle in the shower head of the indoor pool. This is on the ground... You can also borrow bathrobes, but there is no way to hang them up in the room. Additional coat hooks would be useful. Regarding the negative things, it should also be mentioned that at the beginning of the sauna season we only found open doors and a cold sauna. Finally, it must be mentioned that the service in the dining rooms was courteous and our housemaid knew what cleanliness was.

23/08/2024: Great location, brilliant hiking trail from the valley. Then the Kaiserschmarren at the top of the hut. Awesome.

16/08/2024: A place where pure hospitality and friendliness still exists. We are so happy that we accidentally ended up at the Sesselschwaige. What warm and sweet people Elmar and Lydia are. From moment 1 we and our children felt welcome. Delicious food, which was largely prepared according to traditional methods. In short, a true pearl in South Tyrol!
