30/10/2025: Restaurant is a bit away from the busy streets. They've got really nice interiors and its ideal for eating out as a group. They are famous for their pizzas, but other Italian delicacies are available as well. A nice bar is at the entrance connected to the main dining hall. Friendly and nice service personnel. We even found someone who speaks Hindi 🙂 which was nice. It's kind of like a fine dine experience but at very reasonable price. The thin flat noodle pasta with sausage was really nice. We ordered other delicacies and pizza as well. All were really good. Both card and cash are accepted. Free roadside parking can be found a little away from the restaurant. Restaurant was almost full when we arrived so an early reservation would be nice if you have a large group.

17/11/2025: While traveling from Berlin to Sardinia in our campervan, we stumbled upon the beautiful old town of Neumarkt/Egna. To our delight, we discovered the superbly located Pizzeria Lauben. In a friendly, family atmosphere, we were able to end the day enjoying delicious pizzas and good wine.
The service was excellent, the pizzas arrived quickly and were perfectly prepared, the wine was top-notch, and the atmosphere in both the pizzeria and the adjoining bar was consistently positive.
All in all, a real treat!
13/11/2025: We stopped on a rainy evening during a roadtrip from Stelvio to Venice. Perfect stop in a lovely town in a local faily owned establishment. Very delicious pizza with the freshest ingredients, and very good prices. Highly recommended.

15/11/2025: From the moment I saw the beautifully presented amuse-bouche, it was clear that the cooking here was done with passion. You could taste that the person cooking here truly understands their craft.
A meal that not only fills you up, but makes you happy. I will definitely be back – and I recommend it to anyone who appreciates genuine quality.
04/10/2025: The food was very, very tasty. Only one negative point: the potatoes in the schnitzel were a bit too chewy. Otherwise, everything was delicious, and the espresso was also excellent. Perhaps the price of beer, at €7 for a 0.5 liter, is too high for Italy.

18/07/2025: Welcoming place; we sat outside, under a lovely portico, characteristic like the rest of the town center, beautiful and quiet. With the high summer temperatures, we ordered beer, which was excellent and nice and cold. The appetizers served to accompany the beer were good, high-quality, and plentiful. The staff were welcoming, kind, and quick with their service. I recommend it based on my experience.

08/09/2025: The new location also exudes the typical "Enzo spirit." A bit larger and airier, yet still tastefully cozy, you'll feel right at home. Excellent dishes and first-class wines, casual and relaxed in the morning, elegant and full of flair in the evening. Even without the arcades, this is a must-visit in the region. Thanks for being there!
08/09/2025: I went to this place during aperitivo time before lunch with my girlfriend and family, drawn by the location and the fact that there were several people sitting at the tables.
I always try to avoid writing bad reviews, but in this case it would be wrong not to.
I'll start by saying that I'm a regular at Michelin-starred restaurants (this one isn't, but it's in the guide nonetheless), so I'll sum up my experience with this: it's not quite there.
Absolutely outrageous prices, a pointless €4 cover charge per person for a glass of wine each and a charcuterie board (a normal plate of speck and average salami, no mortadella) and an embarrassing cheese board (literally a small plate with five microscopic pieces of cheese and a sort of compote of some fruit in the center), both for €20 a plate.
So, first of all, if you want to offer service like a busy restaurant/cafe, you do it in every way; either you succeed or you don't.
Uncooked bread included in the price (I don't think I've ever experienced this in an osteria, much less in a Michelin-starred restaurant) was not even noticed by the owner, and we had to point it out to him.
Small sharing plates of cheese and cured meats were only made upon request, and no explanation was given about the cheeses we were tasting (you're charging me 20 euros for them? Explain to me what I'm eating; that seems like the basis of fine dining).
Unfriendly service and outrageous prices; Michelin should review its standards.
Recommended only if you want to be needlessly ripped off.
Avoid.

17/09/2025: If you want to eat fish as it should be, if you want it fresh... really fresh... if you like a first course with seafood or seafood... that tastes like the sea... then you have to try Portichetto 2.0... I can't judge the pizzas because I've never tried them with fish here... at a fair price and with the chance to try typical Campanian delicacies.
Try it.

24/10/2025: As my father-in-law says: if lots of truckers stop, it means the food is good... And that's exactly how it is, even at this place.
Simple, but extremely pleasant.
The business lunch was good and fair, both in portions and price.
15 euros for a first course, second course, side dish, water, and coffee (since it was the owner's birthday, a little something special with two small pastries for everyone was also included).
I'll definitely be back for more lunches during my "break" days.

20/08/2025: Located right in the center of Egna, adjacent to the post office, the restaurant welcomes you with an eclectic and tasteful style in its recently renovated interior. We enjoyed the cool evening at the outdoor tables. The service from owner Enzo and his staff was attentive, friendly, and never intrusive.
We ate very well and drank very well (the wine cellar is very well stocked).
Spaghetti with pesto, green beans, and potatoes, just like in Liguria, were delicious; eggplant parmigiana was tasty and fresh; beef tartare was delicious; and a stuffed guinea fowl was mouth-watering. The desserts were another pleasant surprise: especially the apricot strudel and the scoops of ice cream. They say they make excellent espresso, but it was evening and I didn't try it.
We'll be back.
