09/08/2025: A very nice hotel in a hundred-year-old building. Superior, competent, and friendly staff. One thing: Please place pepper mills with whole pepper on the tables. Ground pepper is blasphemy.

05/08/2025: Located in the center of town, it's great. Everything is made of wood, very clean and new. The breakfast is fantastic, with tons of options. We arrived late for check-in, and they left everything ready for us with instructions. 100% recommended.

26/07/2025: A very touristy place, offering a wide variety of dishes (which initially put us off), but it turned out to be really good. Do yourself a favor: order the pork shank...amazing! The (craft) beers are also really good.

23/08/2025: The hotel is beautiful, with well-furnished, new rooms, all in wood, and above all, spotlessly clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable, as were the pillows and sheets, which were soft and clean. Breakfast was always spectacular; every morning we ate deliciously, with a wide selection of sweet and savory options. The bathroom had a huge, new, and truly beautiful shower. Every corner of the room was spotlessly clean. The location is convenient, close to the highway and a 10-minute walk from the center, accessible via an underpass and then a very pleasant pedestrian path along the river. The cleaning ladies were always kind and extremely efficient; cleanliness is the hotel's strong point, in my opinion. It has a very convenient underground garage and bicycle storage. The hotel is located along a main road, next to a gas station. There's quite a bit of traffic, and since our room didn't have air conditioning (a basic room), we slept with the windows open, and overall, we slept well most of the time, noise permitting. I recommend asking when booking if you'd like air conditioning, because I hadn't thought of that! The bike rental service only includes classic bikes; for e-bikes, the hotel will put you in touch with an external rental company (a very kind and helpful gentleman). Kudos to the owner, who was incredibly kind every morning!

19/08/2025: We stopped by for pizza on Saturday evening; the service was very pleasant and friendly! The pizza was delicious and the price/performance ratio was excellent.

25/05/2025: Experiencia culinaria verdaderamente excepcional. Mi esposa y yo disfrutamos de esta familia íntima - restaurante dirigido. Un pequeño patio al aire libre tranquilo y pintoresco. María, una de la familia, se sentó y nos atendió con un servicio perfecto. La comida era excelente, y disfrutamos de platos preparados con los espárragos locales producidos allí, así como chuletas de cordero. También descubrimos felizmente un nuevo vino favorito... un Lagrein, producido por una familia local en la cercana Bolzano. ¡De alguna manera tenemos que averiguar ahora cómo llevar las 4 botellas a casa en California!

29/04/2025: Great cuisine, a culinary delight and top service in the Unterwirt Gufidaun! We had an absolutely fantastic evening at the Unterwirt restaurant in Gufidaun! A huge thank you to the entire team for the outstanding menu! What is brought from the kitchen to the plates here is truly culinary art at a very high level. It was a great menu where you could taste the attention to detail, the quality of the fresh, seasonal, mostly regional products and the creative sophistication in every component. The dishes were not only visually beautifully presented, but also perfectly balanced in terms of taste, excitingly pointed and consistently a delight. The service was in no way inferior! Very attentive, warm and simply perfect. Thank you very much again for so kindly implementing the wish I expressed in advance via email. Not only was everything as hoped, but it was also handled so personally and warmly - that really made the evening special. You can feel the passion for excellent food and outstanding service here. If you don't stop here, it's really your own fault! An unreserved recommendation for anyone who wants to experience excellent cuisine and an unforgettable evening. 25/08/2025: A cozy restaurant with friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere in the old town of Klausen. The pizza wasn't exactly impressive, but other dishes like the dumpling plate and the bacon platter looked very tasty. The value for money is good.
