09/01/2025: A villa with a spectacular charm from times gone by, set on a small promontory on which the related village also stands. The staff are fantastic, we felt at ease. I think we'll be back.
05/01/2025: Beautiful hotel with a beautiful terrace. Nice to have a drink in the evening. Swimming pool is annoying. This is some distance from the hotel. The hotel swimming pool only has 4 sunbeds. Room is nice but air conditioner full of dirt. Many narrow stairs so you need to have good mobility

23/11/2024: Cena al Ristorante S.Elena a Buggiano Castello, parcheggio gratuito, piacevole location, fantastico panorama, cortese e professionale accoglienza a parte di tutto lo staff, il signor Mario (gestore) e la signora Federica (cameriera), ottimi cibi con particolare sottolineatura al Fritto Toscano cucinato dalla chef signora Monica ed ottimo rapporto prezzo-qualità.

10/02/2025: we had dinner last Friday, the staff was very kind and polite, the place was very quiet and characteristic, I would even say reserved. The food is very good and typical of the place. I recommend it.
08/12/2024: Serata splendida come sempre da Andrea e Linda con piatti semplici con accostamenti particolari ben riusciti…pizza accompagnata da un ottima birra ambrata e per terminare con tiramisù casalingo e grappa barricata a dir poco fantastici..rapporto qualità prezzo secondo me ottimo …vale la pena venirci sia in inverno che d’estate dove si mangia nella piazza centrale di questo piccolo ma tipico borgo toscano ..

17/11/2024: Exceptional pizza, in a welcoming place where you eat pizza. Top quality ingredients, craft beers, pizza with thin options with the flavor of the wood oven. The owner is uniquely kind, as are all those who work there. Good, good, good. I asked for a pizza with half flavor and half of another and I was satisfied immediately. Well done again and thank you for your kindness which is never taken for granted. You feel welcomed and it's a pleasure to be there!

04/11/2024: Having only used the restaurant part and not having stayed overnight directly in the building, the place is very nice, certainly in the summer period it is much more pleasant but in any case the cuisine is local and of good quality, the staff is kind and very precise.
Must try!

07/01/2025: Good morning, I don't usually write negative reviews, in fact if I write it it's because I'm particularly happy with the place, but in this case I'm sorry but that's not the case. Last night, together with my partner and my sister, not finding our usual restaurants open, we came across this restaurant. I was very "bad" in my evaluation because simply homemade food is fine but you eat better at my house and at work lunches, service is not a service, so much so that there is no menu so a person cannot manage their shopping and the environment makes me say that although it is not luxury, it is still the best part.
We took 3 Tuscan appetizers (1 slice of cold cuts for 3/4 different types and two half slices of bread with cherry tomatoes and classic crostini with livers), then a plate of pasta all'arrabbiata and two second courses with random vegetables, wine and water, an artisanal panna cotta and 1 normal coffee and 2 of those mixed with rum and a grappa... 75 euros... Well, I was left speechless... since, fortunately, I am I often go out to eat and I have worked for several more or less important restaurants... Last night we had to spend, I won't say half, but almost.
Excuse me, I don't mind the very nice lady, but I don't recommend it. Good day.

21/07/2024: Diciamo che con gli antipasti ci ha già stesso e una pappa col pomodoro che i miei figli hanno leccato il piatto. Tutto strabuono grazie a prodotti genuini scelti e cucinati con maestria. IraqNon so come qualcuno abbia potuto scrivere che è caro... prezzi che non si vedono più da 5 anni! Consigliato! Davvero soddisfatti. Si segnala l ottima accoglienza.
19/06/2024: Ci siamo stati per il mio compleanno mentre eravamo in vacanza a Montecatini, locale trovato da ricerca online. Piatti locali, ottima materia prima, tutto preparato al momento. Proprietario e staff cordiali ed accoglienti, tanta tanta storia dietro al locale e a chi lo gestisce. Per noi un’esperienza bellissima, culinaria ma anche umana. Anche i nostri figli adolescenti hanno apprezzato tutta la serata.

03/01/2025: Cenone di capodanno da dimenticare…. Menù e cibo mediocre, organizzazione dell’evento priva di senso, sembrava un cena qualunque.
A mezzanotte non hanno portato neanche un po’ di panettone ben augurante, nel prezzo ( che non era certo basso!) solo il caffè senza un amaro o altro, quello bisognava pagarlo a parte… Non parliamo dell'intrattenimento musicale: a risparmio anche quello..
Sicuramente non ci tornerò e sono convinto anche altre persone.!
