26/06/2025: I rarely write reviews, but this is the one time I feel like writing because it's incredible here. Thank you for such a wonderful place, everything is very well maintained, I would be happy to come back here again.
26/06/2025: This is our fourth consecutive stay here and we're absolutely thrilled. The entire complex is quiet, beautiful, and very clean. The staff are super friendly, and Andrea's breakfast is delicious. We'd love to come back again; we highly recommend it!

15/06/2025: Easily accessible place, beautiful and with various services. We used the pool as outsiders and it was actually a very pleasant different afternoon (from the sea). Too bad for the unspeakable quantity of horseflies (or similar), concentrated practically only in the panoramic pool... which actually also made the situation comical (with the guests wriggling in chaotic dances, while the staff lived with it peacefully). We had lunch at the Niagara pool bar, quiet service and good value for money.
11/06/2025: Amazing place, high quality hotel with 2 pools, 1 restaurant, 2 poor bars and lots of loungers with 1 assigned to each room. We found it very relaxing and great for families. Not very lively for young couples if you were looking for that.
Location requires a hire car if travelling. The closest medieval town is Volterra which is stunning for about a 30 minute drive. Other towns are Sienna and San Gimignano all beautiful. Driving up to the accommodation is quite narrow and some paths are poorly maintained, so no Ferrari's please.

15/06/2025: We were here for lunch and ordered the daily special.
One appetizer, one main course with a side dish, water, wine, and coffee. We were very full at the end with the delicious food.

P.S.: It's also possible to order gluten-free, as was the case at the next table.

22/05/2025: Unfortunately, we didn't get to eat. What a rude woman in the service. This is un-Italian and we left for that reason. We hope that the woman with the nice tattoo of a glass of wine on her right arm has a better day tomorrow. We will never, ever come back here. Basta.

16/11/2024: ristorante l’oliveta davvero consigliatissimo, siamo stati a cenare un paio di volte, entrambe esperienze positive dove abbiamo potuto godere di ottimi piatti della cucina toscana e di una vasta scelta di vini rossi veramente di qualità, per non parlare della calorosa accoglienza e della cordialità del personale che danno modo di sentirsi come a casa, tutti piatti buonissimi ma l’’agnello che fanno è veramente speciale, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

05/02/2025: Nella norma si è mangiato bene, buono il servizio, ambiente piacevole. Ma la presenza di bambini urlanti e saltellanti tutto il tempo hanno guastato l’ambiente.
27/01/2025: Buonissima trattoria Toscana dove mangiare egregiamente bene! Portate abbondanti, servizio ottimo e veloce, simpatia Toscana! Buona la pasta con il ragù, buono il piccione e ben fatti anche i piatti di mare. Ovviamente la parte da leone del ristorante è la carne, però la proposta anche di altre portate è’ valida. Vino della casa da migliorare. Non l’ho trovato eccelso.
Buonissimi i dolci! Ben preparati.
Qualità prezzo strepitosa! Nel complesso lo consiglio per una serata fra amico..

12/09/2024: Buongiorno, ho conosciuto questo ristorante perché sono stato contattato dalla titolare signora Tiziana. Una persona che a prima vista sembrava educata e gentile.
Io lavoro per un’azienda familiare che vende prodotti alimentari e la signora Tiziana ha cominciato a lavorare con me. Dopo un mese di lavoro ho chiesto il pagamento delle fatture, lei ha detto che non c’è la faceva a coprire tutto il debito. Però mi fece un assegno pregandomi di incassarlo dopo una ventina di giorni. Purtroppo l’assegno e tornato indietro impagato (insoluto). Scrivo questa memoria per chiedere ( visto che la signora si nega) a lei di fare il pagamento. Siamo una piccola azienda e la cifra è cospicua ( svariate migliaia di euro) e ci ha messo in forte difficoltà economica. Chi legge deve sapere quando un esercizio fa dei buoni piatti, ma anche se è serio con i suoi collaboratori e fornitori. Perché chi non ha rispetto dei fornitori non ha rispetto neanche dei clienti. Spero serva a qualcosa questa mia forzatura. La prego signora Tiziana di pagare 🙏🏻. Grazie

17/09/2024: Was soll man sagen? Das beste am Restaurant war die sehr bemühte und nette Kellnerin, die ihren ersten Arbeitstag hatte. Das Essen war nicht gut - gerade wenn man bedenkt, was man im gesamten Umkreis angeboten bekommt. Thunfisch mit frischem Gemüse klingt gut, ist aber nicht so gut wenn das Gemüse gekocht kalt kommt, die Pasta Vongole hatte sehr wenig Vongole und war wahrscheinlich auch schon vom Morgen. Der Wein - die nette Bedienung fragte extra nochmal ihren Chef - war der Hauswein, der weg musste. Preis/Leistungsverhaeltnis stimmt nicht. Schade.
