06/08/2024: Restaurant to escape and I think many of us thought so that evening. We are tourists but don't take us for idiots. We all order 4 dishes at the same time for 4 people, we receive one dish after the other every 1/2 hour and to tell us that it's like that in Italian is incredible, move on.

31/07/2024: The resort is located in the countryside in Riparbella where you can enjoy relaxing days with swimming pools, deckchairs, umbrellas, bar and restaurant service which I would say is good. Since I live nearby I didn't use the rooms but if I had to take a few days off and relax I would definitely go there. You can enjoy an excellent and very welcoming view, I recommend it for those who decide to get out of the chaos of the cities, and if you want to enjoy the sea located about 20 minutes away by car
31/07/2024: Beautiful view from our apartment. On top of a mountain. Nice base to go to Pisa, Livorno or Lucca. Close to the beach and large supermarket nearby. Large swimming pool that is not often busy. The inventory of the apartment was somewhat dated and scarce. There were no mosquito screens, while Ecco Italia describes this. Which is not an unnecessary luxury with all the mosquitoes out there. We were bothered by a mouse, but the park did everything they could to solve this, you are in nature after all and so it can happen. Bread can be ordered at reception.

30/07/2024: Nothing good apart from nature and views. Apartmenta are old, lack of air conditioning is unbearable during summer. Ants and fleas inside, kitchen and its tools old , heat inside, it makes cooking impossible there. Lack of staff to clean during stay, nobody changes towels, toilet paper, trash
bags during whole week stay. For us, very uncomfortable stay, and after all we were stalked by the staff for not having clean apartment after stay.. while the apartment was not even clean when we arrived and as i mentioned we didnt have any cleaning tools. Very rude attitude. I would add as a big minus checkout hour- 9:30, very early.

19/05/2024: Mi dispiace ha dirlo e la seconda volta quando siamo andati a pranzo qui, la prima volta cibo di ottima qualità però la seconda una delusione totale 😓
18/05/2024: Service et accueil,très agréables. Les tapas sont copieux et délicieux, les pizzas grandes et savoureuses. Les spritz sont à 5€. Je recommande vivement. Pensez à réserver car très fréquenté.

La Piazzetta Ristorante Pizzeria

06/08/2024: In einer Region in der das Essen integraler Bestandteil des Urlaubselebnisses ist, überlebt offensichtlich auch dieses Restaurant. Hier gibt es einige Red Flags - es befindet sich direkt an einem der bekanntesten Fotomotive der Gegend und man bekommt sofort einen Tisch. Die Bewertungen sind allerdings gut und man darf ja auch mal was riskieren. Wir wurden von 4 verschiedenen Servicekräften bedient - hier rangierte es von freundlich über uninteressiert bis pack dir die übrige Pizza bitte selbst in den Karton. Das Essen selbst war nicht schlecht. Es fällt hier aber auch beinahe schwer wirklich schlecht zu essen. Der Pizzateig ist definitiv gut, die Pizzasauce ist allerdings einfach passierte Tomate, Oregano oder Salz sucht man vergeblich. Die Quattro Formaggio Pizza war lecker und der Gewinner des Abends, sie kam allerdings auch ohne die langweilige Sauce aus. Beim Rindfleisch wurde allerdings weder gefragt wie man es haben möchte, noch wurden Beilagen serviert. Die Steinpilzsauce hatte im besten Fall schlecht (selbst) eingelegte Pilze und im schlimmsten Fall kamen die aus der Dose. Egal was es nun war, es hat einem qualitativ kaum zu ruinierenden Stück Fleisch beinahe den Rest gegeben. Wer jetzt sagt, dass man sich in Italien ohnehin vor allem an Pasta und Pizza halten sollte, der hat keine Ahnung was ihm sonst - zumindest in der Toskana - entgeht. Der lokale Wein aus Riparbella war hervorragend. Insgesamt findet man in dieser Region alle 50m ein besseres Restaurant und bei begrenzten Abenden an diesem Ort möchte man keinen dort verlieren.

19/07/2024: A complete disappointment!!! To bad that this wonderful hotel has to benefit of a dezastruos restaurant! Don’t take the time trying this place! Just awful!
You would expect a high class service regarding the amazing scenery and hotel services….but no.
Tasteless food, service even worse than a “bodega” and high prices! Lack of choices!
The staff doesn’t know english even if the guests are mostly non italians.
Shame!!!! Shame on the owner that he doesn’t rise to the expectancy of such a scenary and hotel! Because of this all the guests try it once, and after the entire holiday they just drive into town for proper culinary experience!
I would never stay again at this hotel only due to the fact that i have to drive to town to eat something good! This restaurant makes the guests go away!
