Just a stone's throw from my house, there's this wonderful place, welcoming, and tidy in every way.
The owners are wonderful, the food is EXCELLENT, the service EXCELLENT, the place has a warm atmosphere, like being at home... I congratulate you for having brought this place back to life.
Today, my husband, my son, and I came for lunch, and we were so thrilled that we decided to celebrate our son's First Communion here.
You deserve the best.

21/01/2026: In Tuscany for work, I tried several places in the surrounding area until I stumbled upon Sottobosco. There's no comparison, and I haven't changed. The restaurant is clean and well-kept, and in the warmer months it has a large, green outdoor area—it's wonderful. The welcome and service will make you feel at home, friendly and kind. The restaurant offers a menu of meat and seafood dishes. I've tried everything, and I must say the quality of the ingredients is excellent, everything cooked to perfection! The price is more than fair—highly recommended!

If you want a fabulous Tuscan appetizer and an exquisite Florentine steak with an incredible wine list, this is the only place I would recommend.

24/01/2026: I stumbled upon San Romano almost by chance while wandering around the area and discovered this little gem of a neighborhood pizzeria. It's a simple yet welcoming place, with a few tables for those who want to dine in, and a truly family-friendly atmosphere.
The pizzas are flavorful, light, and easily digestible, a sign of the passion and care put into the ingredients. The dough is perfect, perfectly crispy, and the toppings are rich but never heavy.
Special thanks to the owners and staff: kind, smiling, and always available, they convey a genuine atmosphere that makes the place even more enjoyable.
If you're passing through or find yourself nearby, I wholeheartedly recommend stopping by.

12/12/2025: I'll explain the reasons for my review:
1: You order a pizza but then you find a cracker in the box,
2: You order a marinara but there's no garlic or oregano on it. You go in and point it out to her, and the lady at the counter says "annoyed," but she didn't tell me on the phone! As if my marinara was any different from the usual.
I go back a few days later and order a white pizza with sausage and a red pizza with sausage. On the white one, I find mozzarella, as it should be, but on the red one, only tomato and sausage. I go back in and point it out to her, and for the umpteenth time, the "annoyed" lady tells me I didn't tell her on the phone, as if the red pizza with sausage is normally without mozzarella!
Now I ask myself, are you really pizza makers?

16/08/2025: A truly bizarre experience. Almost slapstick. Disastrous decor, virtually no service, and the staff couldn't have been more rude. Plastic plates, no wine glasses.
The buffet food was authentic and not bad at all, but certainly nothing special.

23/10/2025: The rest area is well-maintained and fairly flat. Electricity is a bit expensive (€0.50 per hour), but you can pay with coins and only for the time you want. Parking is €10 for 24 hours from arrival. The town is always busy with celebrations, with numerous festivals.
17/09/2025: The campsite is very well located, which is really nice for enjoying the area. The sheets and towels provided were clean, which is very much appreciated.
A special mention goes to the receptionist, who is very kind and accommodating and speaks several languages, including French 😊
On the other hand, the mobile home could do with a good refresh and a little more maintenance, as could some of the campsite's facilities, which give off a neglected feel. It's a shame, because with a little more care, this place could be truly wonderful.

19/07/2025: Location molto carina, con luci e gazebi (avrei preferito un po di musica di sottofondo). Siamo arrivate e non hanno trovato la prenotazione, ma ci hanno accontentato mettendoci fuori anche se prima ci avevano proposto il locale interno ma per il troppo caldo abbiamo rifiutato. Sotto consiglio del cameriere abbiamo scelto la formula “all you can x” con taglierone e braviata x5 persone; come si vede dal menu abbiamo speso per questa formula 26,9 a persona. In più abbiamo preso degli spritz e dell’acqua. Per le nostre bocche quei due “taglieroni” erano veramente grandi, infatti la carne abbiamo deciso di portarla via. Il prezzo è medio alto ma per quello che abbiamo preso lo riteniamo giusto.
Lo consiglio per le “bocche buone”!
15/07/2025: Ho passato una serata davvero bellissima con la mia famiglia in questo ristorante. La carne era ottima, tenera e saporita, proprio come piace a noi! Il vino era molto buono, perfetto per accompagnare il pasto. Il locale è incorniciato in un posto carino, accogliente e piacevole, ideale per trascorrere momenti di relax e convivialità. Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante a chi cerca un’esperienza gustosa e piacevole in un ambiente bello e familiare. Torneremo sicuramente!

Nessuno ci ha mostrato una carta e detto in anticipo il prezzo del menu’ fisso!
Consigliamo di chiedere il n anticipo durante la prenotazione il prezzo è il tipo di servizio.
