12/10/2025: It's been years since I've been back, but they're always top-notch. Sincere compliments. The food is like it used to be, the atmosphere is honest, the service is exceptionally friendly, and they even let my dog in despite the ban.
The tagliatelle with mushrooms are excellent, the fried lamb and goat are excellent. These places are sacred and must be preserved. ⭐⭐⭐⭐👍
11/10/2025: Spotlessly clean, spacious, extremely friendly staff, and excellent, plentiful cuisine. Located near Cerreto Laghi, I'd say it's a must-visit if you want good food at more than fair prices. Ample parking.
Upon returning a month later, my first impressions were more than confirmed. Domenico's professionalism and courtesy in serving are exceptional qualities that make you regret leaving; the home-cooked cuisine remains superb.

30/08/2025: If you are looking for traditional italian cousine this is THAT place. Locals and very kind stuff members give you everything you want from italian traditional food experience. Pasta and pizza was 10/10. Tiramisu was sweet end of this experience. I higly recommend this location.

01/10/2025: It was a very positive experience during a pleasant motorcycle ride with friends in the Lunigiana/Garfagnana Apennines.
We were welcomed, hosted, and generously fed with warmth and friendliness by the owners, Cristina and her husband.
I will gladly return and recommend it to anyone interested.

13/10/2025: After many years, Roberto, my father, returned to the Elvetico bar with friends and was pleasantly surprised by the significant change in the atmosphere: more functional, with new furnishings, tidy, clean, and elegant. The young owner offered a warm welcome, courteous and generous in preparing a delicious aperitif. He will definitely return to try the ravioli, which, he was assured, are hand-crafted using local ingredients. Not to forget a warm Clementi cinchona as a pleasant and excellent digestif.
05/10/2025: We had a macchiato and a normal coffee, the staff were friendly and the price was average.

27/09/2025: The food was delicious. The highlight, however, was the starter, "Antipasto di mare. 5 Portate" (5 different excellent starters). And all for €16. Unbeatable value for money.
The ambiance is average. The service was very friendly and attentive. The starter was served super quickly.
10/08/2025: Sunday lunch, excellent appetizers, both seafood and vegan upon request.
Borage tortelli with pesto and calamari, and tagliolini with clams.
Water, €58.
Excellent value.

27/08/2025: It's been a while since I've been back to Moncigoli, and the desire to do so was fueled by the decision to dine at this restaurant with my wife and friends. The food was delicious and plentiful, the service excellent, and the owner is very kind and attentive. The atmosphere is exactly what I expected, and dining outside at sunset offers a truly beautiful view. We'll definitely be back.

13/09/2025: The restaurant overlooks Fivizzano's Medici square in a very pleasant and quiet location. The food is good and carefully prepared. Table service is attentive and fast, and the owner is always kind and courteous. The hours are quiet, but if you're going to a restaurant for a quick meal, that's not quite the restaurant's philosophy (or mine). The pizza is special. My favorites are the contadina and the pane Arabe, but they're all delicious. The beers are good. The prices are more than fair for the quality and service offered.
03/09/2025: Truly a beautiful place in the historic square of Fivizzano. The food is divine and the waiters are incredibly friendly, especially one waitress named Zeina, who was exceptionally polite from the start! Highly recommended!

02/07/2025: Tipica osteria, semplice, ma accogliente. Io e mio marito ci siamo fermati x cena ieri sera 1 luglio 2025. Mi ero informata prima telefonicamente per sapere se c'erano opzioni vegetariane nel menù perché la cucina lunigianese ha molti piatti di carne. La signora è stata gentilissima ed effettivamente c'erano opzioni sia per l'antipasto, sia per il primo piatto, sia x il secondo. Abbiamo optato per una frittura mista, con contorno di insalata. Ottima, veramente ottima.

La location appare esternamente in bel contesto medievale, ma concretamente è stata una grande delusione per :
- poco ordine e poca pulizia in generale sia negli interni che esterni,
- menu deludente ma sopratutto la cucina è davvero basica,
- servizio bradipiso anche se il ragazzo che serve ai tavoli di danna come un forsennato ( ma viene lasciato sempre da solo)
Discreto il rapporto qualità prezzo ma di certo è un locale che NON CONSIGLIO.
31/05/2025: Visitamos el castillo y más tarde nos dijo nuestro anfitrión que el restaurante era muy bueno. Así que nos acercamos y caminamos colina abajo para descubrir que estaban cerrados! No vi horas publicadas pero supongo que el domingo no es un día para cenar allí. Decepcionado de perderlo

15/02/2025: Ottima cena di San Valentino ormai siamo di casa qui da Francesco e mamma Carmen che ci coccolano ogni volta che ci veniamo abbiamo dormito in una camera pulitissima ampia e bella calda naturalmente ci vediamo d estate ❤️
28/09/2024: Poca ls scelta dei piatti anche se la qualità non è male; in questo posto uno si aspetterebbe di trovare molti piatti della tradizione ma purtroppo la cucina si accontenta di servire cibo con poca pretesa.

18/08/2024: Bar alla partenza di una vecchia funicolare dismessa nel 1930.
Affettati eccezionali, sottaceti casalinghi, formaggi molto buoni di vicino caseificio, pane nero ottimo, crostate e dolci buonissimi. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.
