13/11/2025: 2012 WORLD CHAMPION LOCATION 👉 Pizzeria da Natale, open since 1992, is located in Tuscany, at Piazza Giuseppe Mazzini, 13, in the municipality of Aulla, in the province of Massa Carrara. 👉 It's a very well-known pizza by the slice, having been recommended to me by some Emilian friends visiting my hometown of Pisa. 🏆 In 2012, Pizzeria Natale was the World Champion in "pizza in teglia" at the world finals held in Salsomaggiore Terme. 👉 The pizza he created and led to victory was called "Mondiale" and was topped with parmesan cheese, cherry tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, and basil. According to the owners, it remains one of the most popular pizzas to this day. 👉 Therefore, I personally went to the municipality of Aulla to verify what I was told. 👉 The restaurant isn't large, but it's well-organized, both in the reception area and the work and food preparation area, with a small dining room with tables. 👉 There are no tables outside. 👉 The aroma is a sign of deliciousness as soon as you enter. 👉 The pizza is thick and soft, crispy on the sides, and the toppings aren't overdone. You can clearly taste the freshness of the ingredients used, as it's even good reheated in your home oven. 👉 Everything is made fresh, partly in view and placed on the counter. 👉 The cecina, as we Tuscans call it (or farinata, as they say in Liguria), is truly delicious: thin, crispy, and thin. 👉 As you can see from the menu, the selection is wide and you can also eat in. 👉 I recommend everyone in Aulla, and even the surrounding areas, to try this pizza. 👉 The pizzeria also has a very well-designed and interesting website. 👉 The prices are in line with the average, and the pizzas are large enough for two people.

04/11/2025: Sunday lunch. Excellent food, very friendly staff. Only downside: it was already noisy in the dining room due to the number of people, and the background radio was truly annoying and pointless.

27/08/2025: The pizza dough is very good, and the combination of ingredients to complete it didn't blow me away; there were a few off notes. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find "original" ingredients from Campania. The staff is exceptional, friendly and knowledgeable, attentive but not intrusive.

16/11/2025: Shameful!!! I had to wait 1 hour for 1 portion of chips, after an eternity the pizza arrived. Many ingredients were missing. The tomato sauce on the pizza was tasteless, there was no salt, the only good thing was the dessert, shame on you!!!!

13/10/2025: The pizza was very good, but the white wine and the red wine were less to my liking. It was very loud.

22/11/2025: Delicious food, fast and friendly service! Reservations are always super quick. Both the pizza and the meat dishes are always delicious. And everyone is served at the same time.
