You can enjoy lunch with excellent traditional platters as well as elaborate dishes from the kitchen.

21/02/2026: I had dinner tonight. It was a terrible experience. The food wasn't even bad. But the service was horrendous, almost atrocious. Towards the end of the meal, the waitress even spilled a boiling hot coffee on my wife, which, for God's sake, was perfectly acceptable. But the owner didn't even bother asking for information and made us pay for everything, down to the last cent. He didn't even take the coffees off our bill. Maybe we were lucky he didn't charge us for the one he spilled on us.

Informal atmosphere, average prices.
Polite and fairly fast service.
Sweet and savory breakfast items could be improved a bit.
Some on-site parking is available.

Ambience that brings together different ages and realities, drinks at a great price, active billiards and foosball, games to watch, music to listen to, if you want to chat this is the best place!
Pleasant atmosphere and super smart guys!

02/05/2026: Very friendly owners, convenient location, but lack of cleanliness. Stained carpet, bathroom neglected, as was the rest of the property.
18/02/2026: In my opinion, the hotel deserves more than this.
The room is nice and spacious, the restaurant is excellent, and the receptionist is warm and welcoming.

The courtesy and helpfulness were top notch.
I've eaten there several times, both with the set menu and the classic menu. Each time, it was an explosion of pleasure. The presentation of the dishes has improved significantly. The execution has always been top-notch. Compliments to the chef.

01/06/2025: Durante una vacanza di 3 giorni ad Altopascio mi è stato consigliato il Ristorante “ da Coso”, che è risultato a conduzione famigliare. Il proprietario è gentilissimo e cordiale mettendo a proprio agio gli avventori. La cucina è tipica ed ottima come il servizio. Ottimo il rapporto prezzo/qualità

Abbiamo provato la Fiorentina, affettati e crostini, più contorni di patate al forno, fagioli. Tutto molto buono e servizio ottimo

16/04/2025: I haven't been fishing there for two years, even though I live less than 4 km away... I've always gone carp fishing to the big lake, and I've always had fun. The last time was two years ago, when I caught a nice 13 kg carp, which won me the morning competition. As for the rest, there needs to be more determination in renovating the big lake, especially the banks and fishing spots, which are in pretty bad condition. I don't know if they're still open...
