30/06/2025: After a while that I had lost the habit of going to this restaurant, tonight there was the opportunity thanks to Google, searching for "restaurants open on Monday".
In the Osteria del Contadino I found the quality that I remembered: we had the farmer's appetizer and the tagliata, everything really excellent.
A round of applause for the service, attentive and courteous. The portions are abundant, the quality excellent and the quality-price ratio very good.
We will definitely return, I highly recommend it!

14/08/2025: A simple and perhaps slightly dated restaurant, suitable for those who care about substance. I found the seafood appetizer, the spaghetti allo scoglio, the tuna steak, and the house desserts excellent. In addition to the cuisine, the service was impeccable, so much so that we complimented the manager.
The quality/price ratio is amazing. Highly recommended!

28/08/2025: We stopped at this place before leaving for Sardinia. We discovered it by chance. It's very easy to get to from the SS. Good food, very good service. Nice location. It's a shame about the lemon sorbet...not good. We ordered two cacciucchi, which were good. Good value.
02/08/2025: We ate here two years ago for dinner and had a great time...it was the same this time, both for the light-crust pizzas and for my gnocchi with sea bream sauce, cherry tomatoes, and parmesan flakes.

06/07/2025: The place is a bit chaotic and very noisy, but we ate an excellent pizza and appetizers (vegetarian crostini and caciucco di moscardini) of excellent taste. The service was good but very kind. For the food it would be 5 stars, also considering the price level.
There is a room dedicated to parties beyond the dining room, so we saw a frequent crossing next to our table, but without major problems.
01/07/2025: Very large place, also suitable for parties and birthdays.
The menu is complete with meat and fish, not very varied but made to satisfy all tastes.
Lots of pizzas of all types
We only had appetizers and pizza and they were excellent.
The quality/price ratio is excellent.
The environment is a bit chaotic but the place is very large.
The service is quick and kind

18/05/2025: Bellissima sorpresa trovare del personale estremamente empatico, ormai quasi una rarità, cucina di ottimo livello con cibi, in gran parte, autoprodotti. Un oasi di serenità e qualità. Da vecchio sommelier, apprezzato molto il vino, autoprodotto, con Vitigni Cabernet e Cannaiolo, ben vinificato con un buona sapidità e corpo decisamente robusto. Esperienza molto positiva, consigliabilissimo.

27/08/2025: Recommended by a local, knowing the value of the place and given the positive comments. Evening dinner: good hamburger for my son. Appetizer: good cured meats. We had 2 slices but they ran out. Then carpaccio (very good) and mixed grill (hamburger, sausage, steak). Sausage and hamburger on a grill I'd never seen before but without warning. Instead of the steak there were 2 arrosticini. So-so. Side: zucchini but they ran out. House red wine, room temperature about 25 degrees too hot. Coffee with a splash of pepper and coffee and a grappa on the side. 61 euros, I'm not complaining, but given the many shortcomings, I don't recommend returning and I understand that reviews always tend to exaggerate. For 70 euros, I ate better in a bathroom in Tirrenia with a dish in ➕️.

20/07/2025: A negative experience; I personally didn't enjoy it. The wait staff worked hard but lacked restaurant knowledge. The place was packed, as expected on a Sunday in mid-July. The wait times were insane, and the quality of the food was poor. The photo shows the sea bream fillet, which was inedible. Disappointed, and unlikely to return.
18/07/2025: We've been going to them for years, they're family-run and our point of reference in San Felice.
