19/05/2025: Daniele is a passionate host and so informative about food and wine. Everything he makes is so tasty and creative. His partner Valentina is a Professor of Vita Culture at the University in Florence. She is also evident in the shop for her decorating skills. We will go back!
18/04/2025: We were in the mood for a tiramisu at 9:10 p.m. and it is made here on site. You can also find great regional products, such as great oil, pickled things and honey here!

07/05/2025: Absolutely loved our stay. The castle is so charming and has so much historic character, the views are incredible and the staff so helpful and lovely. We ate at the restaurant most nights during our stay as the food was delicious, we wish it was open for breakfast and lunch as it’s that good. The room we had was large and spacious and we chose a room with air conditioning which was great. As the castle is self catering, there are shops including a co-op 10 minute drive by car to get essentials. We bought our daughter on this trip and the cot was comfortable and had a nice mattress and bedding, the staff also provided a highchair which was great and at a great height for the table which was easy for her to eat. This is our third time staying and loved every moment and will be back again soon.

Ate ravioli with walnut cream (salted)
Pasta all'arrabbiata hard as stone. Water container, a jar for Bormioli preserves. Slow and NOT professional service. Total cost 23 euros and change. Final surprise... The menu didn't say the cover charge of 4.00 euros. Miserable with paper placemat. Not at all satisfied. Totally not recommended. For the quality of the food, for the service for not having exposed the cover price. Rejected!

02/06/2025: These days in Montespertoli, in the square, it's the week of the Wine Festival. But in addition to wine we wanted a good coffee, so we stopped at Jack's Bar. The owner/barwoman served us two excellent coffees. The place, perhaps, may seem a little "dated", but still welcoming.

10/08/2024: Before you read this, make yourself a favor a buy this tour. We bought a tour through AIRB&B experience.
My name is Yamil, I am from Puerto Rico and I have never written a Review.
This was by far the best tour I’ve taken and its hard to believe someone will beat this.
In total, we had 6 types of wine but volume wise we all had like 1 1/2 glasses (although I advised my group was small (about 5)).
Besides the great wine, our guide (Tommy) made some stops on the vineyards, cellars, and in a genuine ceramic called Corsini shop which was really nice.
Once in the vineyards they served us an amount of bread, cheese, wine, and olive oil that was of amazing quality. And, although this was all great, the best part of the tour, was Tommy, Marco and another’s worker which I never caught his name.
They made is feel in our home, they were great and supper kind.
I would paid this again. I hope to see all of them in the future and wish them the best of luck.

30/12/2024: Siamo andati in questo locale con la speranza di mangiare la tipica fiorentina dopo tante ore di viaggio ma, ahimè, abbiamo mangiato della carne condita con insaporitori . Ci è stata presentata una grigliata mista comprendente 1 osso , 1/2 salsiccia e un pezzo di pollo, vergognosa nella quantità e nella sostanza. Una pasta al sugo per il bambino pagata 8,50€ mentre 2 spinacine 15€ poi rimodulate a 8,50€ dopo la contrattazione con la signora alla cassa. Esperienza da dimenticare in fretta.
30/12/2024: Sinceramente Deluso dalla qualità del cibo. In particolare la carne, che di per se non era male, rovinata da insaporitore industriale. Non è possibile distruggere in questo modo i piatti della tradizione Toscana. Siamo nel profondo Chianti, come si può mettere un insaporitore sulla Fiorentina e sulla tagliata ??? Poi ho ordinato una cotoletta per mio figlio mi è arrivato una roba tipo Aia (niente da dire sull'azienda che le produce, ma in un ristorante non mi aspetto di trovare la roba del supermercato!!!). Non consigliato!

22/07/2023: Posto molto casalingo cibo ottimo...uno dei posti più buoni per piatti al tartufo e prezzi giusti anche il servizio molto alla buona ma efficiente
