11/08/2024: Compared to the last time, a few years ago, I found it a little less intriguing and tasty, especially the second courses (rated 3). It hasn't increased its prices like others (rated 4) and the staff is always top-notch, courteous, efficient and moderately playful (rated 5). The location was and remains fantastic.
10/08/2024: We were looking for a place to dine outdoors with a bit of fresh air... and we found this, but honestly considering how the restaurant looks and the prices I expected a menu up to par. The mixed starter at 20 euros per person was exaggerated, considering that most of it was cold cuts. 5 ravioli for 15 euros good but not special or particular, not to mention the dessert, absolutely avoid the citrus cream. The Florentine steak looked like it was cooked by a Milanese: too much!
As for the service, except for a young girl who had just been hired who was courteous and smiling, the rest of the staff was very shady. I also advise you to check for wasp nests because managing to eat the appetizer was a real feat given the dozen wasps present on the table.
For me it's not worth the money, I wouldn't go back.

10/08/2024: Before you read this, make yourself a favor a buy this tour. We bought a tour through AIRB&B experience.
My name is Yamil, I am from Puerto Rico and I have never written a Review.
This was by far the best tour I’ve taken and its hard to believe someone will beat this.
In total, we had 6 types of wine but volume wise we all had like 1 1/2 glasses (although I advised my group was small (about 5)).
Besides the great wine, our guide (Tommy) made some stops on the vineyards, cellars, and in a genuine ceramic called Corsini shop which was really nice.
Once in the vineyards they served us an amount of bread, cheese, wine, and olive oil that was of amazing quality. And, although this was all great, the best part of the tour, was Tommy, Marco and another’s worker which I never caught his name.
They made is feel in our home, they were great and supper kind.
I would paid this again. I hope to see all of them in the future and wish them the best of luck.

21/07/2024: After many years of saving this place, I finally had lunch with my husband and my grandchildren in this beautiful place!
I ate very well, even for me as I'm a vegetarian, fast service and extremely competent with children.
I will definitely be back!

04/08/2024: Wandering around one late morning in August we found this restaurant, which turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. The environment is pleasant and clean, perhaps a little vintage, but after all it has been open since '36! We ordered a Tuscan appetizer for two (cured meats, Tuscan crostini, giardiniera made by them, tomato soup, pecorino cheese and caramelized onions, all delicious), a peposo and a cheek stew, accompanied by the legendary Florentine snake green beans, half a liter of wine, water and coffee. Very kind and fast service, artfully cooked dishes with great attention to the raw materials, more than honest prices. Well done, we will certainly be back!
22/07/2024: Excellent local cuisine and a truly remarkable wine list! Very kind and professional staff, the location is well looked after and dining in the outdoor garden is a pleasant experience!

16/08/2024: Excellent restaurant located in the heart of Tuscany. The place is nice both inside and outside, the pizzas are excellent and well seasoned, the appetizers are colorful and very good! A small aperitif is also offered. I recommend trying!
16/08/2024: I'm leaving one star because otherwise I couldn't write a review. Slow service, they don't know where to take the dishes, they get the name of the dishes wrong and the owner is rude. After he brought us a barbecue for two with bleeding chicken, we had it brought back and he had the nerve to charge us for one. Stubbornly he asked us if the problem was money and literally THROWN it at us. There's no need to add anything else

18/07/2024: This was the best meal we’ve had touring Europe (Spain, Italy, Greece). The menu rotates for the seasons but is a mix of traditional Tuscan food and fusion food (mostly Asian inspired). Everything is cooked perfectly. A little bit of a wait for each course but it’s so worth the wait. I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars!

Altra pecca manca un po' di attenzione al cliente.
All'arrivo nessuno ci ha spiegato nulla, poi secondo me inconcepibile che alle 16:00 la camera non sia stata ancora rifatta. Questo vuole solo essere un suggerimento e non una critica inutile. Potete fare meglio perché vale la pena visitare il vostro Podere

The pizzas were very tasty and were all ready after less than 15 minutes. The prices are unbeatable.

19/08/2024: I'm sorry to give 1 star.... 5 would be for the very nice, fresh and always tidy environment.... the staff is also excellent.... 1 instead is for the arrogance of the pizza chef.... (always disgraced, with waits of 2 hours puffing, as if he were doing us a favor..... (at least he was consistent in doing them the same 3 times in a row at least...) (3 and 4 of us came for 3 Saturdays.... first time for a pizza waited for more than 1 hour.... very small, thin, without salt and everything else...., the second time we returned, however, despite the wait of 1 hour and 40 minutes , it arrived perfect!!! well seasoned, tasty! quickly taken from the fridge) without the usual 2 hours of waiting for the pizza chef, (he even said 3 hours at midnight laughing), despite having half an empty room inside.... and despite 1 hour and a half after our order, the gentleman the bald guy next to him got up and said to order a pizza, which arrived to him in half an hour, (maybe it was a big piece... who knows...) it even arrived wrong! ordered a white pizza with raw ham, a focaccia arrived.....
... but ok.... discreet, eatable after 2 hours of waiting.... and 1 marinara so full of garlic, that it was thrown down into the stomach the next day..... and mostly in format mini, let's say (luckily)....
19/08/2024: What can I say.... Historic place with shop and pizza restaurant, where everyone, and I mean everyone, in the area has passed for the historic "al fresco snacks" in Botinaccio. Very good pizzas and everything else.... Simple place but it's always good.... Then there are the kicks, outside and the legendary Jukebox... Without too many pretensions, it's always good... ..
