02/12/2024: Excellent restaurant that lives up to its reputation. Excellent food served with great professionalism and kindness. Wide range of wines to pair with the chosen food. I recommend the steak which is usually special!

30/11/2024: Hospitality and kindness should be the key to everything. We sat at the table at 8.30pm to eat an appetizer and two fillets at 10pm. We didn't say a word until the owner approached and we rightly exposed the long wait. At that point, first the waiter comes to discuss with my husband and when we go to settle the "salty" bill with respect to quality and quantity (a small amount of wine in a glass) €8 starts instead of excuse me for saying things like: If you're in a hurry it's your problem or even the guy turns to me saying that we could look at the cameras together to see the minutes!!!! Luckily we were on holiday, no rush and a great desire to relax. We hope to no longer loom in similar places where instead of relaxing you go home stressed, nervous and with lighter pockets. Only appearance!

12/11/2024: A fairytale place for a fairytale day! Immersed in a beautiful, well-kept garden embellished with a swimming pool, made even more magical by the traditional Christmas decorations, I celebrated my wedding day in Grotte d'Arno and thanks to the precious collaboration of Mrs. Teresa, it was a truly special and chic lunch ! What can I say: the sublime tartare, but also the other starters, the first course with mushrooms and the unusual risotto with purple cabbage, and the roast with truffles won over all the guests. And finally the dessert, a very original wedding cake made of puff pastry and mascarpone cream with oranges and caramelized apples. We can say we are fully satisfied. Thank you for everything. P.S. 10/11/2024: Posto meraviglioso, accogliente e ben curato. Abbiamo fatto un pranzo a base di pesce ottimo, tutto cucinato dalla proprietaria sul momento. Luogo ideale per trascorrere una bella giornata in compagnia di amici o familiari.

08/09/2024: Nos alojamos en Villa Petriolo por 6 noches en septiembre de 2024. No habíamos planeado ir al restaurante con estrella Michelin en el lugar, ya que generalmente evitamos los menús degustación y preferimos trattorias y osterías locales más casuales (como la excelente Osteria Golpaja, también en el lugar) , pero estamos muy contentos de haberlo hecho. Pudimos seleccionar platos a la carta de los dos menús degustación - uno vegetariano y otro mixto. Teníamos tres platos cada uno, un aperitivo, plato principal y postre de cada uno de los menús. Las opciones vegetarianas fueron las mejores, quizás no es de extrañar cuando todos los vinos y productos se cultivan en la finca sostenible en la que se encuentra el restaurante. El personal es apasionado por lo que ofrecen, pero sin pretensiones. La comida era divina, y el ambiente y el servicio en este restaurante en la Toscana rural eran iguales a cualquier cosa que hemos experimentado en Michelin - restaurantes con estrellas en todo el mundo. Muy recomendable.

14/11/2024: Very good quality food, pasta and the spectacular rabbit stew of the day. But without a doubt the best thing was the treatment of the team, with a smile at all times and although we did not speak Italian (Spanish traveling by bike from Nice to Naples) we had the pleasure of being able to chat with the team and enjoy this incredible place.
