Super cute place with Seville style, delicious food (tomato bread, tortilla de patatas, and amazing croquetas!), and super friendly staff. Sofia was super nice and kind to us. My favorite place for years, even for celebrating my birthday đź©·

08/03/2026: Fantastic place for dinner, very relaxing, the stand next to Lake Garda, very attentive waiters with customers, it's worth going because it's a unique thing, you can find typical Spanish food at Olé
16/02/2026: We had lunch on a Sunday; the atmosphere was lovely, with flamenco dancers.
The food was good and the staff were friendly. The only downside was the 45-minute wait between the two tapas, but I'll be back to try the paella.

The view is beautiful... maybe it's also due to the beautiful day that allowed me to eat outside... the food isn't bad, it's a shame that half the already questionable menu wasn't feasible due to a lack of products. Anyway, no!
04/11/2025: Perfect place, impeccable service, wonderful food, and fair price. The waiter, Marco, was super friendly and kind. My first night in Salò started perfectly. I highly recommend it!

09/03/2026: Did I spent two out of three evenings in Milano in a spanish tapas bar? Yes, I did. We liked the atmosphere, the friendly staff and the great wine and food.
26/02/2026: Delicious food, a quiet place with a very family atmosphere and fantastic service.
An added bonus of this place is undoubtedly José Maria, who, despite all the various things to do, even sat down at the table with us for a chat.
He's a warm-hearted person who exudes good vibes and makes you feel truly at ease in his company.
I recommend this place to anyone looking for a place where quality food and a family atmosphere come together, and the result is truly La tienda de Juan!!!

25/02/2026: Excellent food, but it's the soul of the place that makes the difference. The paella is exquisite and the meat is superb!!! Matteo and his partner make you feel like guests more than customers: he's down-to-earth, friendly, and like one of the family. We left with a smile and a free bag of herbs for our herbal tea, a truly thoughtful touch. Definitely book a table to enjoy this carefree experience. We'll definitely be back.

23/02/2026: Excellent food, as usual. The staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The only downside is the wait time, but given the restaurant is packed to the rafters, it's understandable and acceptable.
15/12/2025: A lovely, delicious trattoria serving Spanish dishes and tapas, as well as traditional Milanese fare.
A family atmosphere, good food, good Spanish wines, and a decent selection of beers. I highly recommend it; you eat and drink well in a pleasant atmosphere, and the prices are more than fair.

18/01/2026: I went to Recreo in Milan for an aperitif/dinner with friends, and it was a resounding success. The atmosphere was super pleasant, perfect for relaxing and chatting.
We had truly delicious ham croquettes, delicious boquerones, and a paella made just right: flavorful and balanced. The cocktails also got top marks: delicious, well-made, and with prompt service.
Huge credit to the staff: kind, attentive, and with a way of making you feel welcome without being swamped.
Recreo is a surefire hit for me: excellent for an aperitif that turns into dinner (and an evening you wish would never end). Highly recommended.

09/02/2026: Very welcoming service and venue. The paella was quite good (frozen fish), but it was a shame it lacked the crispy crust/rice that one expects from a typical restaurant. The mixed fried fish was frozen but overall good.

01/03/2026: Terrible, old and poorly maintained place, rude and rushed service from the only waitress, 25 euros for an Iberian ham that didn't look like it. Upon asking for an explanation, they showed us a tray of low-quality ham. Paella that wasn't real paella, but rice with random stuff in it. Terrible experience.
02/02/2026: Very casual atmosphere. Valencian paella was rich in chicken but lacking in seafood. The vegetarian paella had uncooked rice. The crema catalana was good. The owner was very friendly, but the waitress who served us was bordering on rude.
