16/03/2026: An amazing little gem we discovered during our weekend in Rome ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A little place just the way we like them: not a tourist trap, simple and authentic. It was exactly what we were looking for. The owner is absolutely lovely and very attentive. You can immediately see his passion for what he does. He takes the time with each customer and prepares each focaccia with great care and attention. They even have menus in several languages, including French, which is a real plus. My partner asked him which focaccia was the best, and he made him a surprise… and it was delicious! Everything is fresh and homemade. Even the tortilla used in some of the recipes is made by his wife. The focaccia is excellent, and the tiramisu was also very good. The prices are quite reasonable. We didn't stay long, but if our stay had been longer, we would definitely have returned without hesitation. A place that truly deserves to be known!

18/03/2026: We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Excellent hospitality in a family atmosphere. The room was spotless! We ate here every night of our stay and must say we had spectacular paella. We also tried appetizers and pizza, everything was really good! The sangria is also worth trying!

08/03/2026: A trattoria just steps from Noto's historic center. One star less for the use of cream in the pasta with white ragù. One more star for the quick preparation of gluten-free and vegetarian dishes, even without prior notice. The cheese plate is generous. A trattoria without too many pretensions.

15/03/2026: My favorite Spanish restaurant, which, coming from a Spanish woman, says it all :) Super cute place with Seville style, delicious food (tomato bread, tortilla de patatas, and amazing croquetas!), and super friendly staff. Sofia was super nice and kind to us. My favorite place for years, even for celebrating my birthday 🩷

13/03/2026: Great restaurant in the charming town of Domodossola. Reservations are highly recommended, but since I was alone, they still had a nice table for me in the cellar. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and an unbeatable menu. 16 euros for a starter and main course, including a carafe of wine—you really don't find that everywhere anymore. Together with an espresso and a bottle of water, the whole thing came to 20 euros. The Carbonara was good, and the beef even better. I am not a big fan of polenta, but this was one of the better ones out there. Next time, I would love to come back for the fish (as that is what La Meridiana is known for).

11/02/2026: We stopped here for lunch while passing through. There was a bit of a wait because it was crowded, with tables already reserved and us, rightfully so. The staff was friendly and helpful, professional, and attentive. Some dishes were very good, like the truffle pasta dish and gnocchi, and the portions were generous. The prices were fairly reasonable. Nice family-run business. I can't comment on the rooms.

10/01/2026: I was at this restaurant with my girlfriend and they seated us in the dining room. We waited several minutes to order, and when the waiter arrived, he reluctantly (almost annoyedly) explained to us how to order. Unsure whether we should order 500g of meat for two (the ordering procedure requires this if you don't want to take the pre-selected packages), we asked for time to review the menu, and he, clearly annoyed, left, subsequently sending a colleague to take our order in his place. They didn't bring us the proper cutlery or the salt for the meat (we were forced to call the waiters several times), they misplaced one of the next two desserts, and, after 60 minutes of dinner, the famous waiter arrived and asked us to stand since the next customers had arrived (eliciting a chuckle from the colleague). I'm forced to give it a poor rating given the high standard the restaurant aims to offer, given the prices on their menu (Prussian fillet steak at €150/kg). We expected better service and hope they can improve the staffing, as the restaurant's concept is very good. P.S. The owner was the kindest.

27/12/2025: A very quaint place with a great atmosphere. Good background music. Everything is well-kept, from the tables with built-in grill racks to a vent pipe that comes down from the ceiling to extract the fumes while you cook your own meat! Amazing. Attentive and discreet staff. Delicious, high-quality products. Prices are in line with the food you get, and the Fork discount was applied appropriately. We went on a Saturday for lunch, and there were just a few of us. So my overall rating is absolutely positive. We'll definitely be back.

16/02/2026: We had lunch on a Sunday; the atmosphere was lovely, with flamenco dancers. The food was good and the staff were friendly. The only downside was the 45-minute wait between the two tapas, but I'll be back to try the paella.

15/03/2026: A corner of Spain near the Giardini Margherita. Excellent tapas, good-quality ingredients, and an intimate atmosphere. Perfectly drafted beer. Definitely worth trying at least once.

02/11/2025: Stayed at a near by all inclusive hotel. Without getting transport to closest tourist places, Cefalu or Palmero, there is nothing outside of the hotel complex. 2 weeks ago there was a Ferrari car tribute event so had a walk out along the road to watch AND stumbled on this GREAT LITTLE CAFE. Having already eaten, Just stopped for a coffee (and beer🫣😂). Looks to be run by a family, with a great selection of authentic food and drink. Also very reasonably priced. A good break from an all inclusive hotel, experiencing more culture. Very polite and welcoming. English isn't great so like a game of sharards but that was the authenticity we liked of true Sicily 😃. Overheard others who had a meal saying how nice the food was. Even if it's only a walk out of the hotel and a drnykike us, support this great independent

07/01/2026: I've only been there once, a few years ago, but the experience was truly memorable, and I wanted to leave a mark on it. From the moment we arrived, I immediately felt welcomed: the location is stunning, surrounded by nature near the Monticchio Lakes, and we had the opportunity to eat outdoors, with a relaxing atmosphere and truly enchanting views. The food was delicious, authentic, and well-prepared: typical Lucanian dishes prepared with fresh, genuine ingredients, which made the dinner enjoyable and memorable. The wine selection and the quality of the dishes also contributed to making everything perfect. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home, attentive to detail and ready to recommend the house specialties with a sincere smile. In short, even though I've only been there once, Restaino Restaurant left a truly positive memory, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy traditional Lucanian cuisine in a unique and evocative setting. I would return without hesitation. 🍝🌿✨
