19/06/2026: Absolutely fantastic traditional food. Antipasto was simply delicious. Primi and secundi some of the best we had in Sicily. Red house wine is also good. Full dinner with a desert, coffee, and wine costs no more than 40€! Highly recommended place!

02/06/2026: The food was good, as was the atmosphere and some of the waiters. I recommend absolutely avoiding the pseudo-manager (I think his name is Cristian), a completely inappropriate guy for the position he holds. He acts like a good friend, a nice guy, and the one who gives you tips. But when I was handed an overcooked and cold beef steak, he responded to my legitimate complaints (I believe they were legitimate) with an annoyed and superficial expression. When he couldn't justify the cooking, he turned around and left. When another waiter came to apologize, he was abruptly removed by the same one. Conclusion: go ahead and eat, but avoid the good friend.

I highly recommend it.
09/10/2025: A very pleasant surprise. At first glance, I wouldn't have given the place any credence, which looks more like a takeout pizzeria (which they actually do) with tables for those who want to stay and eat. But the real surprise was the food: vastasa potatoes, busiate pasta with wild boar sauce, and spectacular lamb chops. We cleaned our plates with the traditional "scarpetta" (scraper). They say "the habit doesn't make the man," so true. Would we go back? Absolutely, perhaps to try the pizza, which looked too tempting.

The family running this lovely place is caring, frendly and the gold standard when it comes to making sure for you to have a great time.
The food cooked by Nona is comparable with fine dining standards, incorporating locally farmed goods, served in a classic fashion all while enjoying the beautiful view over the landscape.
I can not suggest any place more than this one for a short or long Visite.
We would like to thank the whole family for the time we spend here. It was truly a special time we will not forget.
