28/02/2024: The environment is very informal, suitable for a simple evening with friends.
We got the pizzas but waited a long time before having dinner, even though the place was half empty. The margherita was very good, however the other pizza had raw food which was not of excellent quality.
19/12/2023: Excellent welcome and efficient staff, clean and tidy place, excellent value for money, excellent quality meats, I would give more stars to the owners

02/09/2023: Historic bar in the city that offers a very good variety of breakfast choices. Very friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend making a "sweet" stop while walking along Via Cavour :)
12/08/2023: Bar situato in via Cavour,la via più bella di vittoria,via chiusa al traffico dove è possibile passeggiare e fermarsi a prendere qualcosa al bar.
Personale gentile ed efficiente,granite super,assolutamente da provare!

08/01/2024: Thanks to the suggestion of Emanuela, owner of a wine bar in Piazza Armerina, today I stopped for lunch with some American customers.
What can I say, a wonderful surprise, La Gorda welcomes you in a simple way and makes you feel at home, a wide choice of natural labels and chef Mario prepares very good dishes of local cuisine revisited I believe from experiences around the planet.
I'll be back soon with friends, thanks.

12/11/2023: Terrible and unorganized service. After having taken and accepted the order with the relative payment and issuing the receipt when asking for the cutlery, the answer was: we don't have cutlery as they are out of stock and you are right but we are trying to organize to find... After about 30 minutes of waiting, they managed to find the same, trying to remedy the inconvenience caused. The result was disappointing.

13/10/2023: Purtroppo mi sono trovata male, assaggiando i dolcini con la ricotta ho sentito subito che la ricotta non era fresca ma acida pizzicava alla grande, questo da una pasticceria non me lo aspetto.

21/02/2024: locale non eccezionale, servizio discreto, cibo buono ma non superlativo... IL POS NON FUNZIONA dovrebbe essere il nome del ristorante, visto che sembra sia così DA SEMPRE... e forse sarebbe più azzeccato di "mangia e torna" perchè anche se si mangia bene, non ci tornerei... pagare una cena 45 euro (al telefono hanno detto 40) per quel genere di cena non è il massimo, tanto vale pagare qualche euro in più in altri ristoranti della zona, notevolmente superiori per qualità e servizio
24/01/2024: Cibo ottimo come sempre.... purtroppo nel giro di un anno i prezzi sono lievitati a dismisura..... Abbiamo mangiato una degustazione di antipasti crudi e cotti e una bottiglia di vino, rispetto a un anno fa 2 portate in meno e 30 euro in più a coppia, ben il 40% ..... e tanto per cambiare il pos non funziona

Delicious food, top cocktails, polite and friendly staff who are always attentive, not to mention the great Peppe Failla (owner) who is always super friendly, ready to put you at ease!
A humble environment where you can feel at home without any difficulty!
I've been going to this place for 4 years, a real guarantee.
Highly recommended.

19/11/2023: Abbiamo ordinato 5 pizze d asporto per festeggiare un compleanno...98 eu 5 pizze e posso dirvi la verità....prendete una pizza Della marca Ristorante surgelata ed è 10 volte più buona......mai più......sono di Roma e la pizza a confronta con quella di ieri sera è oro, sia nel prezzo sia nella qualità....sconsigliatissimo
