07/07/2024: If you have a wine list and the customer asks for it, you have to have it, but instead they brought the wine they had in the fridge and made me pay too much for it. If you don't have wine, remove the wine list. My review is negative!
02/06/2024: We stopped by for lunch after having taken a dinghy excursion to the Tiberio Gorges and visited the Giant Swing and the Zip line.

25/10/2024: A bar with a cake shop in it! What’s not to like? We bought some fabulous cannoli and choux buns and stopped for a glass (or three) of wine. Lovely local crisp dry white wine which came with crisps etc. The service was friendly and welcoming,despite our having no language in common. We returned many times during our month in San Mauro .
It seemed the sensible thing to do.
29/09/2024: So by chance I passed by San Mauro Castelverde, among the information received I asked for a typical dessert, they spoke well to me about this confectionery specialty of theirs called Fiorello, they advised me to go to the Antico Bar pastry shop on Corso Cassata, I I did very well to let myself be seduced by this dessert, I must say that it left me amazed by its unique and at the same time light taste, in addition to making an encore, both my partner and I also brought each of us for our family members 8 desserts.
Super recommended!!

08/09/2024: Vera cucina siciliana e genuina. Ottimo dagli antipasti al dolce. Persone gentili, cortesi ed ospitali. Tutto a condizione familiare, davvero eccellente.
31/08/2024: Don’t let the unassuming frontage fool you: behind lies a host of truly Sicilian culinary delights. But beware you have to come with an empty stomach to do justice to Signora Rosa’s amazing cooking. We basically tried the whole menu. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection. We particularly loved the home-made mushroom ravioli, the fried Indian fig skins and the slow-cooked piglet. All ingredients are locally sourced: this is PROPER LOCAL food!!!
If you happen to visit the Madonie mountain range or even just pass through, you must pay a visit! Signora Rosa wakes up at 4am to start preparing the day’s menu!!!

06/11/2023: Typical village shop, where you can find everything... Delicious high quality artisanal biscuits for all tastes. The "Buccellato" is very good. The owner is very nice and very smart and, without even knowing us, planned our weekend in the village for us, providing us with food and a holiday home. Thanks for everything.
