31/12/2024: Pretty local restaurant with nice dish options. The food is simple, well prepared, and delicious. The service is good and the lady speaks good English. We had four different dishes (meat and chicken grill, fried chicken, pasta carbonara) and half a liter house wine, we paid 53€.

05/09/2024: Wonderful desserts, we have visited many cities and we live in a city with many pastry shops and yet this little jewel was a revelation that goes straight into the top 3 of the best pastry shops I have ever entered, everything was to our liking, everything had a balanced taste and the flavors stood out perfectly, truly an excellence of this small inland village to be cherished, the environment was very tidy and clean and the service was polite and kind, nothing short of 5 stars , an infinite number of stars!

06/01/2025: Nice location, very long waiting times between one course and another, shame because we weren't able to visit Gangi. The choice of dishes was reduced (meat only).

06/01/2025: Our experience at Villa Rainò was extremely positive. The farmhouse is immersed in the heart of the countryside, a little difficult to reach, but certainly a perfect place for those seeking tranquility and direct contact with nature.

07/01/2025: We booked for dinner and they gave us availability without any limitations. Once we arrive they bring us the menu and as soon as we are ready to order they tell us that the kitchen is busy and they can only make us pizzas or a few main courses. We were satisfied with a little bitterness but the second courses were terrible and tasteless, the shank for example was seasoned so much that it looked like spit-roasted chicken, the sliced meat with mushrooms was a roast just like the sliced rocket and parmesan was the same roast seasoned differently . The small room is poorly soundproofed, making it difficult to talk among the diners themselves.

07/05/2024: Awful breakfast as part of our B&B package. The lady at the counter was cold and unwelcoming. Very limited choice. Our cappuccinos were dreadfully inferior to those we had enjoyed elsewhere. The croissants were sugar glazed. I asked if there were any “pain au chocolat” and before I knew it, she had taken one of the croissants and squirted it full of chocolate paste. It was like a donut. Yuck. We walked out and bought local goat yogurt at a nearby food store.
