30/01/2025: We went to Trattoria La Carruba to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. Kind and professional staff, exquisite food, cooked fresh and with non-obvious combinations, refined plating. Contemporary but not cold furnishings. Mr. Morgano - the owner - is a kind, helpful and attentive person to the customer's needs. Excellent value for money. We will definitely return for a more casual dinner or lunch.

12/01/2025: It's always a pleasure to meet up to eat at La Carruba! Excellent cuisine with typical Nebrodi dishes, expertly prepared, pleasant environment, quality, passion and kindness. The quality/price ratio is unmatched in the area. I would go there every day! I highly recommend it!

25/12/2024: Everything was excellent, starting with the courtesy of the owner Mrs. Carletto. The first courses (linguine with seafood and spaghetti with cuttlefish ink) are very good, as is the second course (swordfish rolls). Good service and environment. We will return when we are in that area again.

Convenient parking. Guaranteed cleanliness. Customer welcome up to par and polite. Price more than consistent with the dishes served. Thank you

28/12/2024: 110 cum laude restaurant. It will be the fifth time I've come, the first in winter, and I know I'll always go without fail. Very nice place, well furnished and with a nice open kitchen, which I find really tasteful. Very courteous, friendly and professional staff. Excellent food. Starting from the bread basket, with an excellent focaccia and a delicious crunchy crust with seeds and cereals. I only take the 5-course tasting menu, a gastronomic journey (always different or in any case revised) of the highest level. This time they served us a delicious savory cappuccino with potato and wasabi foam, spirulina powder and raw prawn at the bottom, served with a homemade cereal croissant. Then a roasted octopus tentacle cooked to perfection with pumpkin cream and basil sauce and cocoa nibs (brilliant idea because the bitterness of the cocoa gave the dish an indescribable strength). The first was cacio e pepe with homemade rigatoni (and you could taste the difference) with seared prawn, super. For second, a very soft slice of red snapper with seared skin (I suspect it has been caramelised, an aspect which I still appreciated) with a full-bodied wakame seaweed and a chickpea cream. Since there were two of us, the desserts were different. The first is a mix of a gianduja pudding with salted caramel, vanilla ice cream and mint, the second is a sweet pastry (like chiacchiere) with sweet ricotta, strawberries and candied orange. Super recommended!

27/12/2024: A pizzeria restaurant located on the seafront of Sant'Agata; spacious, especially in summer when you add seats (about 400) outdoors; efficient and fast service, even when the restaurant is full. Clean bathrooms, not only at the beginning of service, and always with the necessary things to wash and dry your hands.

04/01/2025: A nice pinsata after pinsata. Heading in search of a fish restaurant you come across the light-filled windows of this place. The heat could already be seen from the pavement and therefore attracted by all this... we entered and after two platters the pinsas arrived!!! All delicious in a comfortable and welcoming environment, loving staff. Well done!!! Everything delicious.

07/01/2025: Very high quality restaurant, with super attentive service and excellent quality food served with style. We went for New Year's Eve lunch, we had fun with the starter, varied and delicious, and then enjoyed the excellent second courses, refined, tasty and abundant. The choice of wines is also excellent. High quality/price ratio! We will be back with pleasure!

Fried octopus on a bed of chicory and caramelized onion. A show. Mrs. Lucia is a welcoming person to the max. She went out of her way to get me a pizza for my son taken from the nearby place and served at the table. Beautiful location and excellent well prepared food. I'll be back. Fabio P.
