08/06/2025: We discovered this restaurant recently, if you want to try the flavors of typical Sicilian seafood cuisine you will not find a better place, probably the best pasta with sea urchins I have ever eaten.
But there are experiences that go beyond a good dish or a nice place and are those that stay with you for the care and attention that we often have not found even in starred restaurants.
A recognition to the staff, in particular to Mr. Pino who pleasantly looked after us; he was not only good: he was impeccable. With a genuine smile, a rare kindness and a professionalism that should be an example for everyone.
Every detail was under control, perfect timing, spot-on advice, and above all the ability to make you feel truly welcomed. Not as a customer. But as a guest.
In a world where we often run, meeting people like this is good for the heart. Sincere compliments: Pino you are the added value of this restaurant!

25/06/2025: For lunch with friends, we took 1 course each, I personally took the fisherman's appetizer which was very good and super abundant, I also tasted other dishes and I must say that they were all very good, the service was also excellent, enriched by the friendliness and kindness that distinguishes the people of the south and the people of Santa Teresa di Riva, thank you

10/07/2025: A traditional and incredibly welcoming place to enjoy typical Messina specialties like arancini, focaccia, and schiacciata, just 20 meters from the sea. We also tried the highly original arancini with spaghetti, alla norma and garlic, oil, and chili pepper—fantastic!
The arancini with salmon and pistachio are also delicious, in addition to the delicious traditional ones.
For those who prefer, you can also try the vegan arancini with soy ragù.
Family-run, the owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, as well as very approachable. We chatted and they explained their origins and traditions.
A must-see if you're passing through Santa Teresa di Riva!

01/07/2025: Very expensive for an aperitif and without the possibility of choosing the glass of wine I preferred. I also paid for the service. In Taormina they are more honest.

08/07/2025: There's not a single thing, and I'll just say one thing, that isn't delicious at the Chillemi bakery! Focaccia, gelato, zuccherote, pitoni arancini, GRANITA... everything delicious. And the owner is amazing! Greetings from Piazza Armerina (the zuccherote were a hit there too).

01/07/2025: I chose to have dinner here with my family and it was the best choice I could have made. We had an appetizer of mussels (gratinated and peppered) which were truly exquisite, followed by exceptional pizzas. Good value for money. Friendly service, everyone was really kind. I will gladly return!!
23/06/2025: Ferrara is a wonderful culinary experience, between Sicily and Campania. The exquisite pizza has the typical Neapolitan dough, with a great variety of choice not indifferent. The restaurant menu offers different types of high quality fish dishes... the atmosphere in the restaurant is very romantic and elegant and the service is truly excellent. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a place to eat well and above all to enjoy a nice evening

Very poor service and inattentive staff.
Old style menu in addition to the poor quality of preparation and high prices ... (risotto rice clearly pre-cooked and quality of raw fish not up to par).
I had made a telephone request to the lady at the reception to prepare a dessert with a candle for the birthday surprise and they completely forgot, making me only get the dessert and ruining the birthday.
The only positive note was the service of a young, courteous and delicate waiter.
05/07/2025: Really top style restaurant with excellent service. Nice location, looks like reservation required, but we were lucky to get a table. Waiters are really good, and helpful. Nice choice of wine. Food left mixed feeling. Pasta with mushrooms was perfect, really enjoyed it. The fish, however, surprised. It was good prepared, but not fully cleaned, having a lot of scales left. Which was not that enjoyable to eat. Other than that, good place for lunch or dinner.

03/06/2025: We went to this restaurant with a group of friends and we ate really well. The owner, Nunzio, welcomed us with great kindness and offered us a very rich fixed menu: between appetizers and first courses we were already full, so much so that we decided not to take the second courses.
One aspect that I want to highlight is the exceptional attention to those who have food intolerances or allergies.
Even though I have some intolerances and allergies, he was able to satisfy my palate. The owner made sure that I could enjoy every dish in complete safety, without sacrificing flavor. Those who have intolerances can rest assured.
The restaurant is air conditioned, overlooks the seafront and is easy to reach, with ample parking nearby. The staff was fast and very friendly. Even though we were a group, the service was fast and efficient.
The quality of the fish is excellent, fresh and cooked to perfection. We will definitely return and I recommend it to those looking for quality cuisine, a welcoming environment and above all attention to dietary needs.
21/04/2025: Disappointing experience, low quality food and cooked even worse.
80s style appetizers
Paccheri presented with pistachio which instead tasted like cheese.
And finally, terrible tasting lemon sorbet served with a dirty spoon.
High price for the quality of food served. Easter Monday lunch ruined.
