09/09/2024: Our experience at Les Barriques restaurant was decidedly disappointing and we strongly advise against going. The location is horrendous, indeed, depressing: it looks like an old, abandoned house from the 1950s. The atmosphere was made even more unbearable by a television with a very high volume, very annoying. The place was completely empty, in a desolate position that created anxiety and terror. As soon as we entered, the owner, who was also the only waiter, informed us that the POS was not working. An unpromising start. We were then given filthy, dirty and disgusting menus. Furthermore, many of the dishes indicated on the menu were not available. We ordered a starter and two meat main courses, but I emphasize that the owner didn't even know what the starter included. As for the latter, we had to adapt to what was there, because our first choices were not available. The appetizer was poor: two slices of stale bread with tomatoes, a few slices of ham and capocollo, two slices of yellow melon, and a few peppers. There was also a portion of parmigiana that smelled rancid and had clearly been microwaved. I didn't even taste it, given the unpleasant smell. The second courses were equally disgusting. My boyfriend actually ate almost everything, but only because he was hungry after not having eaten all day. The owner proposed us some side dishes, offering, in reality simply potatoes or salad. We chose the potatoes, which he said were fresh from Sila, but in my opinion they were simply discount potatoes. In short, a horror. I don't understand how it can have such good reviews; they are probably fake. Avoid this place at all costs.

02/09/2024: I went for dinner, the owner was welcoming and friendly, the food was genuine and fresh, the wine was very fresh... 5 stars, I'll be back very soon
