03/01/2026: The staff at this restaurant were very kind, helpful, and patient, so much so that I write this negative review with some regret. We ate fish for lunch on the Monday after Christmas, ordering the set fish menu with appetizers and a choice of first and second courses. The quality of the fish was simply awful: the mussels tasted terrible, so much so that I personally stopped eating them almost immediately, even worrying I'd get sick. The octopus also had a terrible flavor, while the rest of the fish was almost tasteless (and therefore at least edible). The only thing that I could call good was the swordfish caponata. I was incredulous at the extremely low quality of the fish; I'd never eaten such a bad meal. I can't even tell if the problem was the fish being so fresh, or if some dishes had even been prepared the day before. It definitely wasn't frozen fish, otherwise it would have been better! I was surprised, especially considering the good customer reviews, which I can't explain. Maybe the food is usually better, and they exceptionally opened on Monday to get rid of the leftovers after Christmas? It would be even worse.

14/12/2025: We stumbled upon this little restaurant on the beautiful square. For us, it was paradise! We were greeted in the middle of the afternoon with a big smile from the chef. He was incredibly kind to us, the pizza and tiramisu were some of the best we had in Sicily, and all at affordable prices. It's the kind of restaurant that reminds you of the true values ​​of Italy: conviviality, simple yet delicious dishes, and the chef's radiant smile. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

08/01/2026: I went to this restaurant with my family, and I can't complain, since everything was delicious and in large quantities. The main problem was both the staff and the timing of the food. When we booked, we had requested a table inside near the air conditioning, but we were placed outside with our backs to the sun, which was unpleasant in the midday heat of July. At one point, I asked for the "shutter" behind me to be lowered; the very kind staff told me it would be closed shortly. I waited half an hour and then closed it myself, as the heat was unbearable. Once it was closed, I went in and complained about the request not being heeded, and received an apology. We then ordered, and the meal arrived at 2:30 PM (we had arrived at 1 PM). I requested three bottles of water, which arrived after a 20-minute wait. The decor leaves much to be desired, not to mention the sweltering heat in that place. I rated it average only for the staff and the timing. I really liked the view from outside the restaurant, however.

09/12/2025: We had a warm welcome and dined in an almost family-like atmosphere, enjoying everything from appetizers to dessert in a very relaxed atmosphere. The food was perfectly cooked. A positive experience, highly recommended!

12/11/2025: Very good, we had breakfast there, the best cornetto we ate in Italy, very well filled, and the gentleman who served us was very friendly. The cappuccino was also 10/10.
