14/05/2025: Suggested by our friend Filippo we found an ideal spot for our simple, good, 😋, home-made breakfast. Needless to say, the courtesy and friendliness we found. Place on the main road, in front of a park. Passage of vibrant life.

31/03/2025: We stayed in central Sicily for a couple of days and drove Valguarnera Caropepe. We wanted to try the local pizza for dinner and Il Peperoncino was the most top rated on Google Maps. At first we were hesitant about entering the restaurant because it doesn’t look appealing from the outside. But it was TOTALLY worth it! We had 2 pizzas, a glass of red wine, one beer and one large still bottle of still water for a total of €27. We will definitely visit again! 👏👏
03/11/2024: after being nearby we went to Valguarnera and stopped for dinner, we were very satisfied with the pizzas and the starter, very friendly people and really good food.

23/05/2025: The environment is simple, but welcoming, the food is delicious, genuine, tasty, abundant and tastes of "home" and generous hospitality, the pasta with pistachio pesto is simply wonderful! And then there is her, the owner, the true heart of this small splendid place, who with her warmth, her sympathy and her experience, gives you a truly unique and beautiful moment! Unfortunately I don't remember her name, but I send her my, or rather our "heartfelt thanks" ♥️♥️♥️

La proprietaria, gentilissima, alla mono e disponibilissima.ottime le bruschette e le polpette al sugo, senza dimenticare le frittate e il pollo allo spiedo.terminate il pasto con le cassatelle, ottime. Per non parlare del vinello della casa

05/05/2025: Very kind attention from the owners and delicious food, especially the manso fillet. Good wine. Very delicious tiramisu. As a drawback, they don't serve coffee with milk, but it's absolutely forgivable.

We are on holiday, for a tour in Sicily. Passing through these areas, we stayed for a night at the nearby Paparanza campsite. They invite us to go to dinner in the village. We accidentally stop at this place. A gem. They no longer do a pizzeria but only a restaurant. There is a good choice of wines from all over Italy, but above all local wines that will never be found in the rest of Italy.
The selected food is excellent. Pay attention to the raw material. As always, it is also abundant for our tastes, and therefore with the starter, main course and dessert we fill our bellies well.
The impeccable service. Attention to the customer and a ritual chat, which make you feel at home.
Recommended for those who want to eat dishes of a certain level, better if accompanied by a good bottle of wine.
