The "cover" at the cost of 2 euros is absolutely worth the price because the tables are set very well (and not like those places where for the same price they put tablecloth and paper napkins). The best I tried in the area!!!

After a busy day of work with colleagues, we had the pleasure of having lunch at "Ristorante Vecchia Aidone" and we were nothing short of ecstatic. This restaurant, located in Via Senatore Cordova 90 in Aidone, is a true gem that undoubtedly deserves my full five stars. As soon as you cross the threshold, you are greeted by an enchanting location, cared for down to the smallest details and surprisingly spacious. The structure is spread over several levels, starting from large internal rooms that open onto a delightful covered external section, culminating in a magnificent tree-lined and lush garden, an oasis of peace where you can have lunch surrounded by greenery. The environment is designed to offer comfort and beauty, making every moment spent here a true pleasure. The owner and all the staff have proven to be impeccably professional, accompanied by contagious friendliness and rare availability. Every request was handled with a smile and attention to the customer that really makes the difference. But the real star is undoubtedly the food. The quality of the raw materials is top-notch, with carefully selected ingredients that can be perceived in every dish. The Chef himself comes to the table to present the different proposals and courses of the menu, a touch of class that adds value to the experience and demonstrates the passion and dedication to cooking. We began our gastronomic journey with a generous local and home-made appetizer, a riot of Sicilian flavors. From perfect fried foods to creative creations, to a Piacentinu cheese fondue that won everyone over. Each element of the appetizer was an invitation to discover the culinary richness of Sicily. The first courses left us speechless. Among the proposals, we tasted a fresh pasta with a white Nebrodi pork ragù, a combination of robust and refined flavors, and paccheri with saffron, delicate and enveloping. The mastery of the preparation was reflected in the consistency of the pasta and the balance of the seasonings. For the second course, the grilled steak was a triumph. Tasty, perfectly cooked to appreciate the redness of the meat inside and an irresistible crust on the outside. The quality of the meat was evident and the impeccable cooking brought out every flavor. To accompany the courses, we opted for water and a Planeta Frappato red wine, which paired magnificently with the dishes, further enriching the experience. To finish on a sweet note, the desserts were the worthy culmination of a superb meal. Each dessert is made on the spot, guaranteeing freshness and an authentic flavor. We delighted the palate with a sublime cheesecake with berries, a warm chocolate heart with a delicious cream bath and a classic but impeccable tiramisu. Finally, bitters and coffee ended this memorable lunch in style. Ristorante Vecchia Aidone is a place I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic and high quality dining experience. We had a great time enjoying excellent food in a lovely atmosphere. I will definitely be back to try other dishes and enjoy an evening dinner in the charming garden.

It was such an amazing dinner with charm, attention to detail, interest in helping us understand more about the Sicilian wines & generous serves of local superb produce. Tommy made us so welcome and we appreciated discovering a gem the local Sicilians love too♥️

23/06/2025: The very kind and knowledgeable owner made us taste several particular wines, pairing them with samples of local cheeses and cured meats, other delicacies including the best arancino with ragù ever tasted. The environment is very well-kept and welcoming. A special evening away from the tourist racket, a place not to be missed

18/06/2025: Really good food! Special requests are happily accommodated (vegetarian antipasti). I was also served a regional pasta dish upon request. Delicious! For dessert, there were ravioli fritti con ricotta e pistacchio. Outstanding! The attentive, friendly service from all the staff is also worth mentioning!

17/06/2025: Parto da questo presupposto, abbiamo avuto più volte il piacere di mangiare in agriturismo, spesso abbiamo portato con persone diverse, e tutti sono rimasti soddisfatti. Questa volta però, mi spiace dirlo, la pizza era buona ma il conto è stato esagerato. Non si può chiedere 13 euro per un giro pizza di bambini da 3 a 7 anni, in un tavolo da 11 sono state serviti due vassoi di patatine e 4 pizze, che tra l'altro i bambini non hanno neanche consumato per intero e abbiamo mangiato gli adulti. Quindi 11 bambini per 13 euro, sono 143 euro che sicuramente non hanno consumato. Se poi al costo del giro pizza aggiungiamo 8 euro a bambino per il giro in fattoria, lascio a voi conti. Mi dispiace ma l'altra sera tutti ci siamo sentiti un po' tutti presi in giro.

27/05/2025: Che dire,ambiente famigliare,caldo come un abbraccio,una cena solitaria, filetto al gorgonzola cottura al sangue...nessuna fuoriuscita di liquidi,morbidezza delicatezza al palato e quel pepe rosa...sa di fresco, armonioso e ben amalgamato nel piatto senza nascondere ma riuscendo a risaltare ogni sfumatura di una carne genuina semplice e gustosa Complimenti veramente

24/05/2025: Consigliatoci dalla struttura dove alloggiavamo, questo luogo è ideale per potere fermarsi e mangiare in serenità. L'accoglienza della titolare (e del cuoco) amichevole, il locale è arredato come nell'antica tradizione dei piccoli centri, e con 'ottima scelta di non mettere una televisione in sala che distrae dalla conviviali. Un ottima e soffusa musica accoglie il viandante che si ferma a mangiare. La scelta del menù è ampia e soddisfa tutte le esigenze. Piatti classici come il passato di fave "macco", ed antipasti ricchi e saporiti della cucina tradizionale. Ottimi i primi e succulenti i secondi. Cortesia e qualità. Da non sottovalutare finalmente un tovagliato che non è fatto di carta, per risparmiare. Il prezzo invita a ritornare sicuramente, ma non è questo il motivo, è la bontà delle pietanze e la cortesia con cui si viene accolti. é in centro, ed il parcheggio è facile da trovare.

21/05/2025: One of the best places we found in Enna! We had delicious pizzas with great wine at Umbriaco Tavola Calda. Everything was perfect: the taste, the presentation and the atmosphere. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. If you are passing through Enna, we definitely recommend you stop here. We were really satisfied! We love you, you are amazing! We are very happy with your exceptional service.

07/06/2025: Saturday lunch with friends here at 5 Sensi. We ate really well, the place is very clean and tidy, excellent service. I recommend it.
