23/04/2024: Honestly, my group and I are crazy about their pasta alla norma and the arancini which can also be had without cheese upon request. Homemade processing, guaranteed palate enjoyment. I recommend calling before going for pasta and arancini, they don't always make them.

13/08/2024: I had a very bad experience. As soon as they arrived they brought menus that were not exactly clean. There are lots of doughs, but whoever served us wasn't very prepared for any explanations. The service was fast, but all the pizzas were brought without fresh basil (which was present in the ingredients instead), although the problem was quickly resolved by bringing a small plate with basil to the table. Finally, the most painful point, for which I am writing the negative review (I wouldn't have done so due to the small previous carelessness) is that I found a piece of GLASS in my mouth while I was chewing a bite of the pizza! At first I thought it was a grain of earth because I even chipped it with my teeth, but that wasn't the case. I immediately called the waiter, I showed him the shard of glass, he asked me to put it on my plate to see it better and he immediately went towards the kitchen with my pizza. Thinking he was bringing another one, I waited in vain for about half an hour, but then I asked for the bill since I wasn't alone. The bill arrives with the "glass" pizza taken away, therefore I understand that the owner had not been informed about this. When I inform him of what happened, he is mortified and removes from the bill a symbolic sum equal to approximately the price of the pizza (15 euros), a can and my cover charge. He also asks me if I want takeaway pizza since I hadn't finished it, but I didn't want to keep my companions in misfortune waiting. Thanks, who knows, to the psychological factor, the part of pizza I ate remains on my stomach despite having taken a very long leavening dough. I'm sorry, but I won't return to this place thinking that that glass could end up in the mouth (or belly) of a child...

09/08/2024: Even though it is very far from my town, it is always a pleasure to go to this sandwich shop/kiosk where you can enjoy perhaps the best sandwich in the area and a delicious milkshake. When you arrive at the sandwich shop you are spoiled for choice both in terms of dishes and condiments, I would use them all as they are so inviting!! The sandwich they serve you is really huge and in addition to being really filling it is a pleasure for the palate. After the savory meal you go to the kiosk next door where you can taste many types of milkshakes or glasses with fruit, I always prefer the Nutella milkshake, one of the biggest and best I've ever eaten in Catania and its province... with my family periodically we gladly go to this place which I highly recommend trying for anyone who hasn't done it!!!

25/07/2024: Io non conoscevo questo posto bensì quello accanto che fa panini.Non so trovare le parole adatte per la situazione. Iniziamo con la signora che si è fatta ripetere 3 volte il gusto della granita,coppe piccole e con i bordi irregolari che la granita si butta subito di fuori,la brioche (cruda e piatta di dentro)o la togli subito dal vassoio o la puoi buttare perché si inzuppa,tovaglioli al tavolo zero,li chiedi e te ne danno uno che a stento ti asciughi due dita,gusto mandorla scordetevelo perché nn si capisce cosa sia senti solo cannella.Chiedi l'acqua (che in genere si serve con la colazione) ed è calda e puzzolente tipo di cloro,neanche fresca con 40°all'ombra che ci sono!!! Ok buttiamo pure questa.Tutto orrendo,dal servizio al cibo,senza parole.

18/08/2024: We called ahead to find out if there was anything else besides the pizza and instead it wasn't like that. All this communicated already arrived on site. There were no certain ingredients available and the waiter was rude and unprofessional. I don't recommend

01/09/2024: Sunday lunch, fixed menu imposed. The space is noticeably small for the number of people the restaurant welcomed today. Total chaos (we couldn't even speak). Without air conditioning (we were dead of heat), there were only three fans in the room. Fixed menu did not meet our expectations because the starters are poor in quantity and variety. Followed by a dish in which there were two samples of pasta. The dessert also left something to be desired, both in presentation and flavor. The quality was average. The waiters who took care of the service were kind and ready to meet our needs.

30/08/2024: C’era una volta Masseria Carminello, dove la qualità dei prodotti faceva da padrone. Pensavo avessero cambiato solo la location, ma a quanto pare sono cambiate un po’ di cose in cucina. Porzioni misere, poca scelta, qualità molto bassa. Mi spiace perché si mangiava molto bene prima. Menomale che son venuta da sola con la mia famiglia, e non ho invitato altre persone, perché dopo averli lodati a lungo, avrei fatto solo brutta figura. Per la qualità offerta, i prezzi sono alti. Due stelle solo per la gentilezza della storica cameriera.
