30/08/2024: This is our second time staying here. Quality of this family run hotel and restaurants is top notch. Clean, comfortable and very welcoming. The food is also amazing and has a vast selection. You will need a car to get around as the hotel is cut off from sites. But it's only 18 minutes away from etnaland funpark, 18 minutes away from etnapolis and en route to Etna summit.
26/08/2024: Only drawback is that they do not serve lunch. The hotel is very nice, staff absolutely wonderful. Great location for families visiting Etnaland

09/08/2024: We had the most beautiful wedding we could imagine.
Credit goes to all the Etna Palace staff, professional and friendly people, always with a smile. A special hug goes to Maria Rosa, who took care of every little detail, and to chef Carmelo, who prepared the entire requested menu to perfection. We received so many compliments on both the food and the location.
We hope to have the opportunity to return to them soon.

It is really horrible. The owner is extremely stingy the breakfast is very small quantity.
The rooms contains just the basics.
There are a lot of insects and the rooms are far from the breakfast area and far from the swimming pool.
The area is full of lezards jumping on you when you walk even on the roads.
The swimming pool is in a different building you have to cross the road to go there and there are a lot of dogs and sheeps which are not well trained and very agressive.
It is one if the worst areas i went to in my life
Ps: a cherry on the top the electricity cuts down and you have to stay in total black for hours
And on top threatening my husband for the review I wrote
26/08/2024: Lovely place, ideal location for moving around Etna, super quiet with a beautiful swimming pool.... excellent and plentiful breakfast with different courses to spoil your guests.... 03/07/2024: I got to know this place through family members and various family occasions... until a few days ago I was there for a surprise 18th... every time it never disappoints... quality food and generous portions/buffets... the very nice and clean location...the owner is very kind and helpful...ditto the staff..
I advise...
P.s. also be very careful about gluten-free

05/07/2024: Location suggestiva sia per la struttura che per la vista sull Etna, cibo molto particolare con abbinamenti insoliti, servizio cortese.
01/05/2024: Una bellissima abbazia e un cibo superlativo! Perfetto connubio tra cucina della tradizione e modernità! Servizio impeccabile e accoglienza eccezionale!
