19/01/2025: Deludente!!! Leggendo le recensioni e vedendo le foto dei piatti avevamo alte aspettative ma nella realtà i piatti lasciavamo davvero a desiderare!!!! (Vedasi foto allegate).

24/11/2024: Locale rustico, tavola ben apparecchiata e servizio cordiale ed attento. Siamo rimaste deluse dalla ridotta scelta di piatti nel menù (on line avevamo letto e visto piatti autunnali differenti), la casa propone 3 antipasti di cui due taglieri, tre primi e quattro secondi. Abbiamo preso una zuppa di funghi con crostini di pane, due primi differenti (linguine ai funghi e una pasta con ragù di bufala) e come secondo maialino con i funghi. Le porzioni abbondanti e i funghi buoni per quanto non freschi ma abbattuti (funghi locali) purtroppo i piatti risultavano al palato sciapi e con gli ingredienti poco legati tra loro. Rapporto qualità/prezzo altino proprio per questa nota dolente nella preparazione. Vino locale discreto, attesa lunga nonostante il numero esiguo di clienti.

15/07/2025: We just came for a wine tasting. Tried 3 wines. The place is in the castle, a bit hidden without any kind of logos on the outside door. Around 12pm we were the ones at the winery. The person who served us seemed that she didn’t want to stand up and serve us. Like most people here, couldn’t speak in english and just proceeded to talk in italian. The wines were pretty good! We only received a small package of grissinis for 3 wines… the wines should soak up in something We paid 10€ for a 3 glass wine tasting

22/07/2025: unfortunately this place was not very good, the restaurant over at the golf clubhouse was much better

20/06/2025: New Chef, New Menu. Enjoying my stay at the beautiful il Picciolo Etna Golf Resort. Fantastic evenings at La Ghirlandaia Restaurant with @danielespoletinichef. Thank you so much to all the team for these gorgeous dinners, the savoury dishes and the delicious selection of Etna wines. I was very well looked after by the Chef de Salle Luciano thank you

17/10/2025: We had a wonderful wine tasting and tour given to us. Luckily for us we were given a private tour when we visited. Wines were great and it was nice to be given a tour by the fifth generation running the winery 🍷! Unfortunately weather wasn't so good, but we could imagine the views being quite spectacular on a clear day!
