She's being clever and inflating prices (I suggest you pay attention to the scales and your change, too).
She'll also always try to sell you much more than you asked for.
18/07/2025: We stayed in San Nicolo for 2 month and we we came to this bakery almost every day for fresh bread, pizza or arancino. Everything is very fresh and the stuff is friendly.

A truly disappointing experience for the Ferragosto dinner. The buffet service was terribly organized: endless lines, and whoever arrived first got to eat. The crowd was unbearable, with people pushing from all sides. We found ourselves packed in like sardines, with plates bumping into each other and hair flying in the food. Let alone the quality of the food, which I can't even begin to describe.
Only focaccia and pizza were delivered to the table, but only upon request and over a half-hour late: we even ate fruit and then received our pizza.
Such poor organization completely ruins the experience, especially on a holiday.

29/11/2025: We ordered two portions of mussel sauté to take away, cooked impeccably with all the seasonings. They were all open and beautiful mussels. Excellent. Excellent fishmonger for takeout or to eat in.
Must try. Recommended.
03/07/2025: A few months ago, I discovered Enzo Ferlito's fishmonger. Since then, every morning I've received a delightful video with Enzo's bright, friendly voice, updating customers on the day's catch, its origin, and the price. The fish is always fresh and of excellent quality. The dishes are equally excellent. The swordfish and eggplant arancini are unbeatable. I highly recommend "La Regina del Mare" fishmonger.

03/11/2023: Abbiamo festeggiato la laurea di mio figlio a fine ottobre....che dire...tutto bellissimo e perfetto,dalla sala elegante e perfettamente apparecchiata,dal terrazzo in cui sono stati serviti antipasti e dolci buonissimi entrambi....e per finire la cena...servita alla perfezione e cibo ottimo grazie al loro bravissimo chef Arezzi.Un ringraziamento particolare alle due signore Valeria e Liliana che ci hanno accompagnato con professionalità e disponibilità prima e durante il ricevimento

10/04/2025: If there is a place that makes you feel home the moment you step in, that’s this one! We were welcomed into their family in just a second and made friends for life… amazingly kind family owned business. Rare human quality these days… We never went anywhere else during our stay. Why would we?!? The food is spectacular, cooked with authentic ingredients and lots of love! The lovely mom even cooked for us whatever our heart desired… no matter the official menu. As for the prices, they are far below the worth of their value! Would gladly pay double of what they ask without hesitation, anytime! We will definitely come back, even if only for visiting these amazing people and enjoy the best carbonara and tiramisu ever to see the face of the earth! Thank you for making our sicilian vacation remarkable, dear friends! You give hope for a better world, filled with kindness and driven by passion for food and local culture.
10/02/2025: We were visiting Catania and found this great spot! It’s a family owned restaurant with great service, and great food! We went here for 3 nights, and each night we were treated so well, and the staff there were so friendly. There was no dish that wasn’t good, and the drinks were amazing. Highly recommend if you get the chance!
