18/02/2024: Despite the decent organization and helpfulness of the staff, it is a sad and chaotic place, certainly not the best pizzeria, also for the quality and quantity of the ingredients used for the pizzas, too bad!

02/04/2024: More than 30min between the time we entered the restaurant and the time someone came to take our order.
Only the main waitress was professional and kind, we were not existing for all the other waiters. We were not feeling welcome at all.
The quality of the food is average, compare to the high price of the dishes !
My pasta were OK, nothing incredible but we were extremely disappointed by the pizza my girlfriend got : the dough was elastic and there was too much filling, the worst pizza we had in our Sicily trip.
Because of that, we refrain to take any dessert.
The bill was also not correct, some things that we didn't take were added, but we saw it before paying.
31/03/2024: Excellent pizza served in a rather short time, high price but like the rest of the pizzerias in the area.

The waiters served without particular attention ...... however kind.

09/11/2023: Se non hai possibilità di spostarti in auto dalla zona, in questo periodo resta l’unica opzione decente. Ritengo che poco lontano ci siano tante altre opzioni con rapporto qualità/prezzo decisamente migliori. E’ stata un’esperienza sterile, ho semplicemente placato la mia fame con pietanze dal gusto indefinito. Se poi aggiungiamo che per quanto ho pagato, ho cenato su un tavolino apparecchiato con tovaglioli di carta etc, nemmeno questo piacere è stato appagato. Nel complesso, se non hai alternative valide, per una cena senza pretese può essere valutato.

06/04/2024: We had dinner here 3 times while on vacation. On the second evening we were happily recognized by the two super friendly cellars. We ate at many places in Sicily, but this little shop had the best food for us. Very down-to-earth, fantastic traditional food and very good regional wine. Really affordable compared to other places. A highlight of our vacation for us.

27/03/2024: Quality and location come at a price. The food is good and the place is nice, with a nice view even if during the day, outdoors, you have the feeling of being a bit too much in the middle of the street.
26/03/2024: I returned to Aci Castello after many years and thought that the La bettola restaurant had closed, but with great pleasure I learned that it had moved to Piazza Castello. A splendid setting in which to enjoy the chef's dishes. The various and tasty appetizers are good, not to mention the first courses and to finish, a fresh fry, the icing on the cake. And speaking of cake, you can end the meal with a dessert or a lemon sorbet and as George says..... What else?

06/04/2024: Excellent restaurant, with tables overlooking breathtaking views. Quality dishes and fresh fish. Friendly staff and fast service. Basically… everything perfect! Strongly recommended
20/03/2024: The location is wonderful, the place overlooks the sea with the Acitrezza stacks in the background and a truly beautiful panorama. The waiters are kind and the outside setup is pleasant, unfortunately I have to point out a couple of things: 1. my husband kindly asked to lower the volume of the music (loud music unsuitable for the place, the atmosphere and the customers, which they were not kids but mostly adults eager to enjoy the scenery), the music was turned off but rudely and with unpleasant comments from the staff, which was absolutely unprofessional. I invite the managers and those who work at the restaurant to be more courteous, education is part of the service that is paid for by customers, not given away. We don't expect every request to be accepted, you can even say no politely, but rudeness leads to nothing other than the loss of customers. 2.Secondly: unsatisfactory value for money. Three swordfish rolls on supermarket salad, 14 euros, seems a bit high to me.
By improving the service and plating and adapting the prices to the dishes, the place could be much more attractive.

10/03/2024: Pranzo con amici ,il locale e’ accogliente il personale gentile , cibo direi non di ottima qualità costata di maiale dura e funghi porcini senza sapore e molli le altre pietanze prese non erano ne abbondanti e ne cucinate bene cuore caldo era tiepido prezzi decisamente troppo alti per quello che viene offerto purtroppo non ci ritornerò più

13/09/2023: Here we had Foccace Ligure and a Giorgi burger with a bottle of wine. A beautiful garden in a small square. We were warmly welcomed and served by friendly staff. The food was delicious and we are foodies - especially for burgers. We had basic requirements for wine - no sour and white wine. We were served a great, light Sicilian wine . Thank you ! It really was an amazing combination of flavours with great service and location !
