14/12/2025: I visited Sabia Restaurant for lunch on Sunday, December 14, 2025, with a large group of friends, divided among the restaurant's various tables, with a pre-arranged menu. In addition to a small selection of appetizers, they served a meat-based menu consisting of an appetizer, two first courses, a second course, and a slice of excellent cake. All washed down with mineral water, red wine, and prosecco. I must honestly say that everything was more than good, with top-notch service. Final price per person: €50.

23/12/2025: I was staying at the hotel across the street with my family this summer, and we spent ages looking for somewhere to eat. When we stumbled upon this restaurant, we were thrilled. The pizza and the various fries are absolutely delicious. The atmosphere in the back is really lovely, and you can feel completely at ease sitting there. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. It's a fantastic restaurant, and if I ever go back to Gela, I'll definitely come back here. I hope the restaurant maintains its high quality, and I highly recommend it.

04/11/2025: Good things always happen by chance. This is one of the few good ones. On a special Saturday evening, traveling to Gela from the province of Ragusa, we found ourselves booking at this place based on the reviews we'd seen. They warmly welcomed us despite the late hour (10:00 PM), and we enjoyed an excellent pizza and drank an excellent beer. The pizza in the photo (mine) is a pizza that contrasts sweet and savory, seemingly simple, refined in reality, and not as banal as it seems. To accompany this pizza (made with whole wheat dough), I ordered an excellent beer, a bit drier and more bitter, which pairs wonderfully with the contrast of the pizza's ingredients. Will we be back? Yes! P.S.: One of the most digestible pizzas I've ever eaten, one of the few I can remember that didn't leave me clinging to a bottle of water all night. Kudos to the staff!

14/09/2025: Unfortunately, when it's too crowded, you'll see people doing everything they can to get past the line: ticket exchanges, known friends who work on site who offer favors, mandatory checks by other customers who don't believe it's your turn. On the other hand, the place and the staff are excellent, so you don't have to think about the food, which is a reference point for most people... I'd go back any day, highly recommended!

02/01/2026: This evening, I ordered takeout sandwiches with my friends (I WOULD NEVER DO THIS AGAIN). All the sandwiches arrived incorrectly, some were missing ingredients or added without my request; one sandwich was even completely wrong. Furthermore, all the ingredients were melted into the sandwich paper. Furthermore, instead of fries, I received meatballs. We called back to have the sandwich and the missing fries delivered, but they only delivered the sandwich. In conclusion, I would advise the restaurant to organize themselves better to avoid these inconveniences.

13/10/2025: I frequent this sandwich shop almost every weekend because the sandwiches are generally good, but unfortunately the service leaves much to be desired. Reservations are never respected, there are often delays, and sandwiches almost always come with the wrong or missing ingredients. At first, I thought it was just a weekend issue, given the chaos, but even on weekdays, the situation doesn't improve. Today, for example (Monday), my sandwich was missing an ingredient, the mozzarella was different than usual (it looked like a prepared food), the meat didn't taste like horse meat at all (but just a thin slice, I hope I'm wrong), and even the bread was of lower quality than usual (obviously not the price, that hasn't changed 😅). I really tried to remain a customer, but disorganization is the only ingredient that never fails to impress here!
