26/03/2024: Absolutely satisfying experience, not even too long of a wait for a Saturday evening. The pizza is excellent, the cacio e pepe is delicious, the carbonara is sufficient. Price slightly high, but honest. The environment was suffocated, excessively narrow and excessively exploited.

01/04/2024: Good and simple dishes, without excess condiments. Quiet environment and good background music. They don't make reservations so you have to go directly to the place (around 8/8.30 pm you can easily find a table). Possibility of parking almost in front of the place.

26/02/2024: Really clean restaurant, friendly and quick staff. The fish always looks fresh and of high quality. Sometimes it's a little too hot in the room, especially in winter the heating seems to be on full blast, but we survive. I advise

07/03/2024: Christmas with fine Good evening, I'm Mrs. Mrs De Tuglie on Christmas Day I took over 20 people to lunch. When booking (about a month before) I said that I would bring a disabled person (my mother) and since there are steps from the car park they showed me a second entrance which could only be accessed from the restricted traffic zone. I asked how I could do it and the owner reassured me by telling me that the area was not active on holidays and that at most he would have taken care of communicating the license plate. A few days before I bothered to call back and ask if it was appropriate to communicate the license plate and the owner reassured me by telling me that the ZTL zone was not active on holidays. Well I received 2 fines of 75.00 euros each. I communicated it and I didn't even receive an apology. Definitely lack of professionalism

La pizza cotta nel forno a legna era autentica e deliziosa, con ingredienti freschi che si fondevano perfettamente sulle crosta croccante. 12/03/2024: Una bella scoperta! Frequento spesso Grottaglie ma non ero mai stata al Macchiaviva, un bistrot dall'ambiente familiare e atmosfera calorosa. Materia prima di qualità, piatti ben presentati e servizio attento. Ci ritornerò sicuramente!

19/03/2024: Nothing special except the African style environment. Normal prices, good food. It is located a short walk from the historic center and there is parking nearby. Sore point about parking: there are illegal parkers.

12/03/2024: Overall, I had a really good time. lunch break in a quiet atmosphere with very kind staff and above all a simple lunch but with genuine and delicious products from our land, and bread made by them with the scent of thyme. Recommended
