Fan-Q Pizzeria

Ginosa
14/07/2026: The tomatoes were barely ripe, the service was minimal, and they claimed it was impossible to pay by card (but they were okay with saying we didn't have any cash!!!): it really ruined everything! Too bad, the competition has nothing to worry about!
07/05/2026: We were extremely satisfied and full with the pilgrim's menu offered to us. We recommend pilgrims on the Hellenic/Matera Way not to miss this culinary experience.

Biffy

Ginosa
22/02/2026: The place is welcoming and the service is discreet. The food is pitiful, the ingredients are low-quality, the fish smells bad, and the condiments are randomly added. The tablecloth and decorative flowers are dusty, and the prices are exorbitant. I don't recommend it.
21/02/2026: We've been several times, everything is delicious, everything is freshly made, the owners are fantastic, the place is comfortable, and the pizza is delicious. I highly recommend it.

Borgo Valle Rita

Ginosa
29/10/2025: A charming venue. I celebrated my birthday there; everything was truly excellent, with top-quality cuisine and truly delicious combinations. The first course of orecchiette with creamed radicchio, pears, and caciocavallo cheese was truly superb. All in an atmosphere of pure relaxation and professionalism.
21/10/2025: I visited this beautiful place two weeks ago with my family, almost ten years after first passing by, and I was so happy to see that it hasn’t lost any of its authenticity, simplicity, or genuine quality—especially when it comes to food. We had the opportunity to take a short tour of the farm where the villa is located, and it was truly special. Giuseppe drove us around in an old campagnola car, taking the time to show us the many orange and clementine trees, grapevines for both table grapes and wine, and all sorts of vegetables growing on the property. It was a lovely glimpse into the heart of the estate. At reception, Pierpaolo was clear, kind, and very accommodating when we needed to change our room. We stayed in the superior room called Clementine—I really appreciated its simplicity and calm atmosphere, though I believe the bathroom could use a refresh and a few more hangers or details to make the large space feel a bit cozier. The restaurant staff was excellent—especially Tiziana, who stood out for her warmth and professionalism. The kitchen deserves a special mention: every dish offered a modern twist on traditional flavours, with beautiful presentation and an explosion of taste in every bite. Before leaving, we visited their charming little store, which quickly became my favourite corner of the property. It’s a lovely mix of their own produce—jams, olive oil, and excellent Spumante—alongside vintage and locally made pieces like plates, bowls, and vases. It perfectly reflects the character and creativity of the place. October was such a wonderful time to visit: warm days, landscapes full of orange trees, prickly pears, and vineyards, and sunsets over the valleys that were simply breathtaking. It’s a place full of heart and care, where tradition meets subtle modernity. I’ll definitely be happy to visit again.

Bar Pascia

Ginosa
24/08/2025: One star only for the panzerotto, I didn't like the potato toast, unfortunately the service and the location need to be reconsidered...
04/08/2025: We tried the classic tomato and mozzarella panzerotto, the classic plus spicy, and the mortadella and pistachio. Delicious, crunchy, not heavy, and not fried! The staff were very kind, friendly, and helpful. A must!

Pausa Caffè

Ginosa
04/08/2026: I went in to try it and took two small pieces of focaccia. The focaccia was really good, no complaints about the quality. It's a shame about the rest: I thought it was weighed, but instead it was priced at 3 euros (per piece, so 6). On principle, that doesn't seem right to me. It's disappointing because I wanted to try the panzerotti again, but after this experience, I won't be back.
16/07/2026: We visited Pausa Caffè in Ginosa Marina as a group of eight, based on recommendations we received. If you're looking for an elegant place, this isn't the place: the atmosphere is very basic, but I assure you, the substance more than makes up for the aesthetics. The panzerotti are truly exceptional. We tried both the baked and fried versions and were won over. Since they were so good, we also decided to order a pizza to share, and that turned out to be an excellent choice, too. Personally, I preferred the baked ones, but the fried ones were also truly delicious. If you're in the area and are looking for flavor and quality without too many frills, I highly recommend it. It's a truly worthwhile stop!

Dolcevita - Sapore Napoletano

Ginosa
05/04/2026: Unfortunately the portions are very small...it would have been better to specify
08/03/2026: After a two-and-a-half-hour wait for our pizza, the owner responded with "Saturdays are like this..." as an excuse for their organizational incompetence. We need to apologize first! Furthermore, we ended up paying more than we should because they can't even do the math and they play around a lot... We made a fool of ourselves with some friends who were coming from out of town; we didn't expect such a poor service!!

Cavese

Ginosa
08/05/2026: We went to Cavese for pizza. The place has a '90s feel, and the menu is equally as impressive. Probably even a reprint. The fish appetizers didn't have anything listed on the menu, and I don't know how much else was missing, as we didn't ask because it seemed like it was our fault. So we limited ourselves to pizzas. The dough would have been excellent because it was so light, if they hadn't been almost all burned. Mine, in addition to having sauce (not listed on the menu), also had a decidedly unpleasant odor from the shrimp. Partly out of regret at throwing away a pizza, partly out of hunger and recklessness, I ate them anyway, hoping for no repercussions. After finishing the pizza, we asked for two barrel-aged grappas. We were served something in two plastic cups. At which point, one of the guests remarked in local dialect that the barrel-aged grappa should be enjoyed in a glass. The irritated response was, "We offer these and serve them in plastic." Not even to warn you that it wasn't even grappa, but something with a washed-out herbal flavor. And not to downplay the liquid from grappa, but precisely because it tasted so diluted.
25/03/2026: Everything was perfect, the quality of the food was excellent, the pizzas were delicious, the owners were very kind, I would definitely go back, I recommend it.

Ristorante Lido La Perla

Ginosa
12/08/2026: Inexperienced staff, poor service, long waits for pizzas. It's a shame because the location is nice, but it would be much more profitable if it were better managed!
10/08/2026: Terrible experience, service at an all-time low, they forgot half of the orders, the rude and arrogant owner, answered me rudely because I asked for a second glass for the beer, the quality of the food was terrible, the grilled fish made with fish to be fried instead of fish to be roasted, the pizza rubbery and almost inedible, raw French fries anything but "our Mood for two generations... There is no comparison with past years neither in quality and above all in education and kindness, not even a knife with a hacksaw to cut the pizza impossible to cut with the knife provided, we will see the price, I will let you know, for now less than 1 point
