19/01/2025: A nice little place a stone's throw from the sea, nice clean and well furnished environment. Courteous and very helpful staff, Luca, the owner, immediately put us at ease and advised us on what to choose. Varied menu based on excellent fish; we ordered several dishes including the octopus meatballs (delicious), the anchovies and the mixed fry (among the best I've ever eaten), all well plated but above all of quality. We will definitely be back 😍

19/01/2025: Historic pizzeria in Taviano that does not betray its fame and expectations. Even though Saturday night is a full house night, the guys are good at managing the room. The appetizers are delicious and the pizza is really special, in my opinion one of the best ever.

28/12/2024: Authentic and wonderful corner where you can breathe the Salento air, under a stone arch, outdoors even in winter, but heated (it also has a small room indoors). The restaurant is very small and characteristic, the menu is displayed on a blackboard and offers typical Salento dishes from appetizers (pittule, potato meatballs) to second courses (gnumareddi). We tried the horse meatballs and the mixed veal meatballs and they were both excellent. Also good are the mozzarella in carrozza and the platter with fresh goat's cheese and pizza de cristu (which is a spicy salami). As first courses we tasted the spaghetti with hill olives and pistachios with caciocavallo and the very tasty tortelli in broth. We then wanted to try the bowlers which everyone agreed on their goodness. Everything was accompanied by a Saturnino rosé wine. The owner was extremely friendly, he affectionately told us how he welcomes and takes care of the neighborhood's stray cats, who wandered around the tables looking for food and cuddles. This place made us feel at home, we had a very pleasant evening. We will definitely return to try the other dishes. Highly recommended.

09/11/2024: scoperto per caso, locale carino e moderno che offre un menu di piatti innovativi che ho apprezzato per differenziarsi dalla moltitudine di ristoranti tipici salentini; mi è piaciuto tutto, dagli antipasti ai primi (in particolare la fregola); consigliato e da ritornarci

07/10/2024: Location discreta e un pò fuori mano nell'entroterra salentino, arredi semplici ma gradevoli, staff tutto molto giovane ma attento, preparatissimo, affabile e molto cortese. E soprattutto un menu intelligente, con tante proposte di terra e di mare rivisitate con molta intelligenza, la giusta dose di creatività e zero presunzione (strepitosi fra i tanti piatti proposti la tagliata di scottona, i cardoncelli, le orecchiette, il brasato e la crema catalana!). Vini ottimi e ben consigliati, prezzi più che onesti, servizio rapido e curatissimo. Insomma, una bellissima sorpresa e cinque meritatissime stelle. Bravi!

10/02/2025: I went with my family and a best friend of mine on the day of my confirmation on 5/01/25 on the eve of the Befana and it is a rustic restaurant in Taviano where everything was served splendidly and for the decorations of the environment there was even a sailing ship on the fireplace, paintings and it is also a bar because you could see the cocktails. The food was all good for everyone but I couldn't find out the prices because I was the birthday girl and I hadn't paid. I recommend it to people who are there and it also has an open but small outside area for smoking because it is prohibited inside. 5 stars for this restaurant because everything was tasty between the starters and the first courses and the menu was excellent! 😉😋⭐💯

29/12/2024: Una serata semplicemente indimenticabile da Vento del Sud! Sono stato con la mia famiglia e un gruppo di amici, e fin dal nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti in un’atmosfera calda e familiare che ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa. Il momento clou? Una pizza di ben due metri, cotta alla perfezione e condita con ingredienti freschissimi e saporiti. Una vera opera d’arte! Per concludere, i dessert artigianali sono stati una dolce sorpresa: preparati direttamente da loro, si sentiva tutta la genuinità e l’amore nella preparazione. Un grazie speciale ad Andrea e al personale per la gentilezza e l’attenzione ai dettagli. Non vedo l’ora di tornare! Consigliatissimo per chi vuole vivere una serata speciale e autentica.
