07/09/2025: We went to Le Scalelle for dinner. The place is very quiet and well-kept, the staff is kind and professional. The food was delicious, with excellent presentation and authentic flavors. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!
07/09/2025: Le Scalelle is a stylish and well-kept restaurant, with a beautiful terrace overlooking Torre Vado and Marina di Pescoluse. Some dishes are very good with valuable intuitions, others are normal and could be improved, but overall it is definitely positive even if our expectations were higher. The prices are medium-high, the service is good and fast.

20/07/2025: We had a wonderful time at Ristorante Antichi Sapori in Torre Vado.
The restaurant may not look like much from the outside, but once seated, you'll enjoy a friendly and authentic atmosphere that truly reflects the generous cuisine.
The welcome was warm and the service very pleasant throughout the meal. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and high-quality, perfectly complemented by the simple yet flavorful cuisine.
We started with a lovely mixed appetizer platter and octopus carpaccio, accompanied by chilled Aperols, perfect for whetting the appetite.
For the main course, the grilled calamari was tender and well-seasoned, and the light and crispy fried seafood was a real treat. All accompanied by a bottle of local rosé at a very reasonable price.
A lovely, authentic spot, highly recommended if you're in the area!

16/08/2025: We happened to pass by this bakery, stopped in, and had one of the best lunches we've had here in Puglia—unforgettable focaccia!
The prices were more than fair, and the lady at the counter was incredibly kind!
09/06/2025: Bread, biscuits, taralli and local baked specialties, all with excellent quality, an important point of reference for the area and for us who bring home a little piece of good Salento. Highly recommended

04/08/2025: I always order takeout, since I live nearby. The pizzas are always excellent, whether they're classic or specialty. They're always on time, right on schedule. During peak periods, I've had to wait 10 minutes at most.
I've read reviews complaining about the delivery times. In July and August, they're obviously very busy, so I recommend picking them up yourself.

19/08/2025: Beautiful place! The food is of very good quality. The starters are chosen by the establishment according to the season (about 6 appetizers). Then you can choose between one of the first two and for the second and dessert. The service is pleasant, courteous, fast and efficient. The place really has charm. We will come back. €48 for two.
16/08/2025: The food is unquestionably good. The portions aren't many, but that's acceptable for a 0km restaurant. We went because it was highly recommended; the portions were very limited, but really very limited. From the appetizer to the main course and the only dessert (chocolate salami), which were three measly slices, but delicious. A real shame.

23/09/2024: Su consiglio di amici siamo stati qui per provare in coppia la nostra prima volta in sella ad un cavallo. Il timore/rispetto verso l’animale è stato cancellato tutto dalla tenerezza di questi e dalla preparazione e simpatia della cavaliera e istruttrice Sandra che si è presa cura di noi e ci ha fatto passare una mattinata indimenticabile per le campagne e i muretti a secco del basso Salento. Prezzi onesti.
