04/10/2025: Incredibly friendly and service-oriented staff, very keen to ensure we had a good experience. The food was very good, but on the more expensive side and (compared to other restaurants in the area) small portions. However, the taste was incredible, and outweighed the quantity of food.
18/09/2025: Excellent dinner!
The veal ribs melted in your mouth, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The creamy scampi casseroles were simply extraordinary: delicate, creamy, unforgettable.
The staff were extremely kind and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. A restaurant that leaves you smiling.

01/11/2025: I cook better at home. The grilled meat was lacking seasoning and tough, with lots of fat and no flavor. The set menu included olive leaves with seafood, tasteless, cooked in calamari broth. The grilled fish, dried grouper, and shrimp from Eurospin. All appetizers were portioned, except for the pittule and octopus balls. Pumpkin gnocchi, good, but a shame about the cream. Orecchiette with tomato sauce, raw and unsalted orecchiette.
26/10/2025: Finally a restaurant that offers more than just orecchiette with tomato sauce as an alternative to the fish menu. Everything from the appetizer to the first and second courses is delicious. The staff is very kind and helpful. I will definitely be back.

09/11/2025: The atmosphere is immediately warm and welcoming, a true living room where you immediately feel at home, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. The tasteful decor creates an intimate and relaxing atmosphere.
But the real added value is its owner. Not only is she incredibly friendly, she's also a true master of the art of mixology and hospitality.
I didn't just order a drink from the menu: I asked her for a recommendation, and she guided me through a selection of flavors, offering a passionate and knowledgeable description.
The result? A perfect cocktail, balanced and made with the highest-quality ingredients.
A five-star experience that I recommend to anyone passing through! I'll be back very soon!
25/10/2025: We had a wonderful time visiting Barlento multiple times during our recent visit to Morciano di Leuca. Enrica and her staff were very welcoming and the service, cappuccinos, and pasticciotti were amazing. Beautiful location for watching the sunset and next to a park the kids could play in. I can not recommend this bar enough for people wanting a great spot to share a drink and chat. Thanks Enrica and everyone there for the great times! We will be back!

26/10/2025: In the most beautiful village in Salento, the San Lorenzo bar embodies its essence.
Welcoming, warm, friendly...and the Dreher flows like a river: ice-cold, served with spicy and savory "reinforcements" that will make you want to stay home. Thank you, Dario and Giorgio!!!!
16/08/2025: The square and the bar are one and the same, as is the friendly owners. It's like being at your local bar. The spritz is also excellent, Veneto Approved.

16/08/2025: We happened to pass by this bakery, stopped in, and had one of the best lunches we've had here in Puglia—unforgettable focaccia!
The prices were more than fair, and the lady at the counter was incredibly kind!
09/06/2025: Bread, biscuits, taralli, and local baked goods, all top-quality. A must-try for the area and for us, who take home a little piece of Salento. Highly recommended.

30/10/2025: When we arrived we had expectations because of the whole atmosphere - beautiful garden, local products, fantastic Italian music, but it exceeded our expectations. Many thanks to the Manager ( she was so kind) for the explanation about the meal. They don't have tipical menú, but they have their own garden and they make meals from it. So, what ist actual in that moment, you will eat it. At the beginning they tell you the price for the menú right away, so no after some surprises. The menu is divided into 3 parts and each serves for 15 minutes. It's more like traditional, not commercial. The dishes are fantastic, everything is homemade, the stuff are hardworking and friendly. They have a fantastic section for children where they can play.
They also have beautiful cats.
All in all 10/10

29/08/2025: I'll start by saying that I've always loved the pizzas from Pizzeria Core a Core. I've had a good experience at all their locations, but not the one in Morciano di Leuca. The pizza was burnt, cold, and without toppings. I ordered a "scoglio" (a kind of seafood dish) and got two shrimp and two zucchini on top. The pizza was completely white and black on the bottom. I'll continue to go there in other towns, but this was the first and last time I'd even had to speak in Salento dialect on my cell phone. It's a shame about this inconvenience. My compliments, however, go to the pizzeria in Gagliano del Capo. Excellent pizzas, well-seasoned and tasty. The staff is very respectful of their customers, and the opening hours are always precise.

23/09/2024: Su consiglio di amici siamo stati qui per provare in coppia la nostra prima volta in sella ad un cavallo. Il timore/rispetto verso l’animale è stato cancellato tutto dalla tenerezza di questi e dalla preparazione e simpatia della cavaliera e istruttrice Sandra che si è presa cura di noi e ci ha fatto passare una mattinata indimenticabile per le campagne e i muretti a secco del basso Salento. Prezzi onesti.
