04/10/2025: Incredibly friendly and service-oriented staff, very keen to ensure we had a good experience. The food was very good, but on the more expensive side and (compared to other restaurants in the area) small portions. However, the taste was incredible, and outweighed the quantity of food.
18/09/2025: Excellent dinner!
The veal ribs melted in your mouth, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The creamy scampi casseroles were simply extraordinary: delicate, creamy, unforgettable.
The staff were extremely kind and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. A restaurant that leaves you smiling.

11/10/2025: Incredibly nice staff, genuinely service-minded and friendly. The food was tasty, reasonably priced and we also got absolutely perfect "petolles" as an extra dish. Fresh seafood and generous portions!
Bonus was that the dog could also come along.

02/09/2025: When hunger strikes there is no time that matters and at Barlento you can eat very well even late at night...and if you want to finish in style...the croissants are excellent

16/08/2025: We happened to pass by this bakery, stopped in, and had one of the best lunches we've had here in Puglia—unforgettable focaccia!
The prices were more than fair, and the lady at the counter was incredibly kind!
09/06/2025: Bread, biscuits, taralli and local baked specialties, all with excellent quality, an important point of reference for the area and for us who bring home a little piece of good Salento. Highly recommended

You can tell the business is family-run.
05/09/2025: I'm giving one star because it's the minimum I can give, otherwise I'd give less. We waited 30 minutes for a bucket of ice that arrived melted, the wine was lukewarm, the liqueur was hot, and we also had long waits for the dishes. The quality of the food was mediocre and has even gotten worse since the last time we came. Never again.

Pizzeria Core A core

29/08/2025: I'll start by saying that I've always loved the pizzas from Pizzeria Core a Core. I've had a good experience at all their locations, but not the one in Morciano di Leuca. The pizza was burnt, cold, and without toppings. I ordered a "scoglio" (a kind of seafood dish) and got two shrimp and two zucchini on top. The pizza was completely white and black on the bottom. I'll continue to go there in other towns, but this was the first and last time I'd even had to speak in Salento dialect on my cell phone. It's a shame about this inconvenience. My compliments, however, go to the pizzeria in Gagliano del Capo. Excellent pizzas, well-seasoned and tasty. The staff is very respectful of their customers, and the opening hours are always precise.

23/09/2024: Su consiglio di amici siamo stati qui per provare in coppia la nostra prima volta in sella ad un cavallo. Il timore/rispetto verso l’animale è stato cancellato tutto dalla tenerezza di questi e dalla preparazione e simpatia della cavaliera e istruttrice Sandra che si è presa cura di noi e ci ha fatto passare una mattinata indimenticabile per le campagne e i muretti a secco del basso Salento. Prezzi onesti.
