13/12/2024: Definitely SALENTINO environment, I organized a dinner with some work colleagues.
All 15 super satisfied.
If I could give 10 I would give 10.
The porchetta is simply MAGNIFICENT.

23/08/2024: In addition to the beautiful garten, the service was exceptional. We were there last Friday with our son and the young waiter who spoke English took great care of us and you really feel welcome. Great pasta and the beef meat dish was a very large portion. Suggest to come earlier on a weekend as I noticed the service can get a bit overwhelmed when it gets more crowded later in the evening.

27/08/2024: I have been to Maurizio Protopapa's Osteria three times, the first with my parents and my brother, the second to celebrate my brother's graduation and the third with a group of friends. All three times I was satisfied with both the food and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the owner of the business
26/08/2024: Excellent restaurant in the heart of Martano. Welcoming location inside while the outside one, in a historic alley in the centre, is truly very suggestive. Excellent traditional Salento dishes. Precise, punctual and very courteous service. For us who are loyal customers it's a bit like coming home every time. Thanks for everything

12/10/2024: Stratospheric experience, there were four of us who stumbled upon it by chance and were immediately warmly welcomed. Excellent selection of very high quality beers. I would say the food was exceptional for a provincial pub. I recommend it

25/07/2024: Probabilmente i migliori pasticciotti del Salento... da assaggiare assolutamente quelli pistacchio e ricotta. Da calabrese, con moglie siciliana, di dolci credo di intendermene. Il gelato non all'altezza della pasticceria.

22/08/2024: Bad experience on the eve of a party even though we stopped there at 9pm. Table service absent, in fact the customer must locate a free table. After waiting more than half an hour for two half pizzas to come out, the latter were totally raw... staff inside the bar disorganized and annoyed!
In the open space there was a coming and going of people who approached the tables to ask when they were freed to seat other customers...
23/07/2024: Eating the goodness of Matteo's Bar Pizzeria Ducale is an exceptional experience. Pastries, rotisseries, pizzas and everything else have a unique taste. Added to this is the kindness of Matteo, Giorgia, the boys and the whole family. Highly recommended!!

10/07/2024: Caratteristico il locale nelle vie strette del centro. Accogliente e camerieri molto cordiali. Finalmente un posto dove ho trovato di linea il beefeater, un locale che esce dalle masse. Ho visto anche i piatti invitanti, e tornerò,anche X mangiare

17/03/2024: Premetto di non essere una persona che scrive recensioni, semplicemente se un posto mi piace torno, se non mi piace non torno.
Ma una recensione al Bar Junior a Martano mi sento in dovere di farla.
Sono ormai 10 anni che acquisto pasticceria, faccio colazione e prendo il caffè da loro.
Innanzitutto, la location, pietra leccese e carparo, tipica dei centri storici dei paesi salentini. Stupenda.
Poi le persone. Sempre allegre, simpatiche e anche molto preparate e professionali.
I prodotti. Grandissima qualità della pasticceria artigianale, gelati di altissimo livello.
Infine, il caffè. Io sono un fissato del caffè, esigente fino a diventare antipatico. Mi piace corto e cremoso, con il vero sapore del caffè. Lo prendo solo da loro e da nessun’ altra parte.
Ci siamo capiti no?
