09/07/2025: Welcome to Amélie, a hidden gem among the alleys of Maglie, dedicated to the art of life's small, delicious pleasures. I was lucky enough to stumble upon this restaurant with my girlfriend during our vacation in Salento a few days ago, thanks to the recommendation of some connoisseur friends. Well, what can I say? Wonderful! From the location, with an elegant and welcoming internal courtyard, to the kindness and friendliness of the staff and owner, and finally, DULCIS in fundo, a series of dishes that are spectacular for the quality of the ingredients and the mastery of their preparation. Honorable mention goes to the linguine with lime, stracciatella, shrimp, and cherry tomatoes: a riot of perfectly harmonized flavors, perfectly blended. For those venturing into this fantastic land, a stop at this gem for refined palates is an absolute must. Highly recommended!

24/07/2025: Among the best pastry shops in the Terra d'Otranto area, the Caputo brothers offer the best pasticciotto in Salento (according to my discerning palate) and many flavors beyond the traditional classic custard! Their latest addition: Borsci San Marzano Elisir cream, an enchanting delight! Inimitable! The anemic pasticciotto, with powdered sugar, dry cream inside, and soft, moist shortcrust pastry without the characteristic blackened edges, you won't find it here! 27/07/2025: Welcome to Cavallino: a shopping mall that feels more like an archaeological find than a place to shop. The management? Perhaps one day they'll realize that managing a facility also means renovating it, not letting it decay. The mall is so small and dull that one wonders if it wasn't designed to discourage customers. Irrelevant brands, nonexistent air conditioning (savings above all else!), and a lingering smell from the supermarket that stays with you like an indelible signature. Attractions? None. But perhaps that's precisely the idea: an experience so empty that it becomes... unforgettable.

29/06/2025: Very tasty food with a nice outdoor area with a cozy atmosphere. One waiter was very dominant, which did not make a good impression. Waitress tried to speak good English and help with our choice of dishes. And that certainly worked out well.

03/08/2025: We went for the pizza and I must say it was very good and with many types of dough, with excellent raw materials... the only flaw was the service which was not exactly punctual, courteous and attentive despite the place being almost empty.

28/07/2025: I visited the place because my girlfriend is celiac, and they have several excellent options. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and friendly. The place is beautiful, but above all, the food was exceptional. I went in to try it, but I never expected it to be so excellent in every way. A wonderful discovery, I'll definitely be back and bring as many people as possible to discover this place.

20/07/2025: We went a few days ago with friends, and I must say that the place has left the old-fashioned structure behind, but the interior has been updated, and it's truly very welcoming. We had a beer around midnight, and I must say that the staff was very welcoming and professional, pampering the customers and even frying up some fries for the little girl. I must say I was very impressed. We'll definitely be back for another wonderful evening!

17/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante che ci hanno consigliato e devo dire che era da tanto tempo che non mangiavo così bene in un ristorante , sono rimasta molto sorpresa della efficienza dei camerieri che ci hanno subito accolti e fatti sentire a casa ! Abbiamo mangiato un antipasto e un primo con 2 calici di vino ! L’antipasto era un orata che abbiamo scelto dal carrello e il cameriere ci ha proposto di farne metà fritta e l’altra metà sfilettate e condita con olio ! Come primo Piatto io ho preso Linguine con gambero rosso di Gallipoli e mio marito spaghetti con misto pesce era tutto molto buono ! Dolce un babà con gelato buonissimo . Siamo usciti molto soddisfatti per la buonissima cena ! Grazie

08/07/2025: I must say first that I love arancini...I often buy them at various takeaways. The one I got from the Arancineria in Maglie with ragù and peas was practically tasteless. If it weren't for the crispy breading, I would have given it a 2. The baked one with ham and mozzarella is better.

17/06/2025: I discovered this place thanks to two friends, MILENA and SANDRO and I must say it was a very pleasant surprise. The two girls, Sara and Debora were always smiling, polite and professional. The pizza then... oh my, a real treat, light and with truly genuine ingredients. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE the prices, really "low" compared to many pizzerias and not always, they are synonymous with goodness. I must give my most sincere compliments also for this aspect. A Margherita pizza for € 5.00 is not found anywhere, not even in supermarkets, the frozen ones. Compliments also for the Tiramisu, spectacular. Compliments to everyone, from Toto, to the kitchen and dining room staff. Truly Chapeau 🎩 🍕 😋😍 I recommend it with my eyes closed. Fabio.
