01/04/2024: I return to this magical place for Easter lunch, 13 years after the first time. The premises are still perfect and cared for, the atmosphere is that of an ancient fortified residence very well preserved and perfectly valorised, without excesses or interventions that could distort it. The attention to the customer is textbook, the staff is always attentive without ever being invasive. The superlative food, from the aperitif in the internal garden to lunch in the room (which was full but with such acoustics as not to be tiring), up to the dessert buffet. The barman's advice on choosing the bitters best suited to my tastes is a gem. An excellence from all points of view, a natural consequence of the extraordinary passion that the owner puts into this activity and which clearly shines through in every detail.

06/04/2024: Sublime pastry! A tasting experience that immediately transforms into a pleasurable journey! This is the second time we have visited Lecce and this pastry shop is a point of reference for us, the desserts are absolutely delicious, very delicate. The very kind and competent service, the welcoming environment and the delightful owner, with an uncommon professionalism, polite, discreet, extremely available. Luckily, Salerno Lecce is not that far away!

02/04/2024: 35 euros for an "artisanal" dove that is dry and without flavor constitutes an offense to the pastry shop and a real theft. We should take some lessons (perhaps in Campania or Sicily which are nearby...) on the concept of "artisanal dessert".

30/03/2024: The chain offers excellent quality/price ratio as always... the only flaw is that when you arrive late in the evening, like at 11.40 PM, the tall, thin boy has already "mentally closed" the place, getting angry even for a simple cone of ice cream. .. we were even able to witness a slight verbal argument with the other colleagues twice... who were trying to make them understand that it was too exaggerated to set the closure posts twenty minutes before midnight as well as ten minutes before. To conclude, the most beautiful scene was when, the second time we were arrogantly kicked out with an ice cream that we no longer wanted to eat... we witnessed him kicking a couple from the table... sitting down to eat two cups... and forced to eat them out. Time 11.55am! If you don't like that job anymore, look for something else.. 🤍

31/03/2024: Nice place to have an aperitif. Fresh and top quality products. Average prices. We invited friends for an aperitif and we made a good impression! I recommend trying their platter with cured meats and cheeses and the smoked puccia.

17/03/2024: Google indicates open for lunch on Sunday but in reality the place was closed! But it was great to find it closed because a few meters away the DUCA was the turning point for Sunday lunch.

28/03/2024: We were pleasantly surprised by the experience at Carrettino! The sandwich was deliciously balanced, with a perfectly cooked burger that didn't overpower the taste. We appreciated the kind gesture of the discount coupon on the bill and the offer of bitters, an appreciated touch of courtesy. The only criticism concerns the wings appetizer, where the quantity-price ratio was not up to expectations, with only seven wings for €6, we expected a slightly larger portion. However, overall, it was a very pleasant experience that will definitely keep us coming back!

21/03/2024: Today's evening I was craving rare red meat and therefore the choice could only fall on them, because the meat is of great quality and the Carlo V burger is phenomenal... better REAL. The menu offering and services are of great value. In fact, my partner chose the chicken meat and was also happy because the burgers are accompanied with chips that make you lick your fingers...

06/04/2024: The food is delicious and excellently cooked, the service is great. However, the only drawback is the limited air circulation, which makes the environment a bit suffocating, and the smell of food, accentuated by the lack of air vents, is very strong.

24/03/2024: Pure Japanese izakaya, a delicious oriental parenthesis in the heart of Lecce. Well-selected and tasteful dishes served by staff with tact and courtesy! WELL DONE, I have rediscovered the cuisine of my beloved Japan!

30/03/2024: Best Moussaka I've ever had. The baklava is out of this world. Excellent service. Great Greek white wine. Came for lunch here twice in 4 days. Just fabulous.

26/03/2024: I have never tasted Greek cuisine before so I have no terms of comparison but I must say that I ate very well, I liked everything, even those specialties that initially didn't convince me, such as the Imam Eggplant. I highly recommend the house appetizers and the Pita Fish. The prices are normal and the quality can be felt. The place is nice, welcoming and constantly plays Greek music. The staff is smiling and helpful. In short, everything was perfect, I can only recommend it!

26/03/2024: Excellent location and convenient location with both external and internal tables. Easy parking. Very friendly and helpful staff. The pinsa is excellent, soft and crunchy, you can immediately sense the long leavening and the attention paid to the preparation which makes it decidedly delicious. Definitely recommended. Also open for lunch with excellent dishes at a good price.

01/04/2024: There was a serious mistake with a gift exchange in the handcrafted Easter egg you ordered. An unpleasant situation that created a lot of embarrassment. Having informed the owner, the latter did not even make much effort to "repair" the situation. Unfortunately I will never go back there again.

06/04/2024: It's a very nice and welcoming place and everything you order is of quality, but if I have to find a sore point it's very few desserts, only from breakfast and until a certain time. Even in the late afternoon I would like to eat a pasticciotto for example...
