Good chocolate soufflé.
Lots of choice of pizzas, but little choice of beers. And above all... pay attention to the expiry date of the beer they serve you: ours had expired and the date had been meticulously canceled on all four, in an unsuccessful attempt to make it seem like a coincidence.
The waitress was quite nervous.
We had agreed with the owner that we would order the pizzas after consuming the starters, but she insisted on ordering them straight away. Okay. Obviously they had leftovers, so we asked for some takeaway boxes (N.B. it's a pizzeria that also does takeaway, so it's stocked with boxes): he brought us 3 small sheets of foil with 3 paper bags.
It's a shame this superficial attitude.
22/12/2024: The restaurant is housed in a historic noble residence tastefully renovated.
The menu includes a vast quantity of courses and varieties of pizzas, whose dough is very light and digestible.
In summer you can dine in a spacious and lovely garden

When you enter this magical place your eyes cannot help but shine at the many delicacies, from mignons to dry pastries, to all the typical desserts of each season such as panettone, nougats, and much more. All the desserts are produced every day and the quality and freshness is guaranteed. Michele the owner is truly an exquisite person, with a fantastic organization of all his beautiful staff
24/11/2024: Pastry shop really worth trying if you pass by Copertino. The laboratory is open to view, and obviously we couldn't not try the pasticciotto. Really very good (then it was still warm, the goodness was indescribable). I highly recommend it

The room inside is unfortunately very small, so if you don't book you risk not finding a seat. The food, what can I say... excellent. ..as well as the service, friendly, kind and professional waiter.

A slightly gloomy environment but at the same time fitting in with the theme of the venue.
Food, honestly excellent, the waitress recommended the smoked sandwich and I think it's one of the best burgers I've ever eaten so far.

Pizzeria La Lanterna del Greco

And not just the recipe, there are many "ingredients" of this wonderful place. The joyful welcome of Selenia (amazing hostess), the confidentiality of Irene, the generosity and wisdom of Riccardo..... well mix all this well and the Lanterna del Greco becomes a place of the heart..... at least of mine.
06/10/2024: Restaurant renovated with taste and elegance which offers a vast choice of choices on the menu which varies from excellent fish to impeccably cooked meat, first courses for every palate and a careful selection of wines as a pairing.
Courteous and always available staff.
Choosing them for lunch on Sunday or for dinner during the week is a real treat.

15/02/2025: Compared to a few years ago, in my opinion it has dropped in level. On Saturdays and Sundays the waiting times are biblical to be served. I ordered a cake, but was given one with different flavours. After a few days, I took a completely cold rustico.
