The food was excellent. The pasta with tomato sauce and polpette were simply delicious and fresh. We followed it with fried fish, which was absolutely divine. The service was very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.

Trattoria il Vagabondo

19/04/2026: If you're passing through San Foca, stopping at Il Vagabondo is a must. We started with a top-notch fritto misto: plentiful yet incredibly light, and you can tell the oil is clean and the frying is done to perfection. The pizza really stands out, though: truly exceptional in flavor and digestibility. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. We'll definitely be back!

Hotel Gallipoli Resort

27/05/2026: beautiful surrounded by greenery, very kind staff, half board treatment, excellent food, excellent location even if it is not on the sea, I highly recommend
04/05/2026: The exterior is truly beautiful and very well kept... The rooms are very nice and the lady at the reception is certainly kind and professional... Cons: other staff are decidedly less professional and kind, nice room although the bedspread and blankets were put in the closet at least 6 months ago and are full of dust... There is a 10 cm hole in the wall (see photo) and no mosquito nets (so second sleepless night). As for breakfast, it is located in a nearby building so not exactly convenient, but the worst thing was the products... To treat well, the products were at least packaged and I don't think even branded... Nothing local (and we are in Salento... I don't think there is a lack of good things). The location is not the best... you need a car or shuttle to get anywhere because you are in the middle of nowhere. I wouldn't go back.
