27/11/2025: I was there in September with some relatives and we dined outside. The atmosphere is elegant and very clean. We ate very well in terms of quality and quantity. The grilled meat was superb. I highly recommend it.
22/11/2025: A very unique atmosphere, typical of some Salento homes, with vaulted ceilings and walls made of Lecce brick.
The typical Salento dishes are delicious.
The owner and staff are courteous and welcoming.
Good value for money.
Recommended.

25/01/2026: Am I a loser? I read tons of reviews before booking, all of them positive, with almost all 5 stars, only a few with 4. My experience was: unsympathetic staff (big smiles, chatter, and a joking tone with probably regular customers), soft pizza in the center, and I thought, "Okay, maybe it's the mozzarella that's leaking the most water," but when I lifted the pizza, I saw it wasn't cooked; it was white, as if it had just been in the oven. To be honest, I have to say that the ingredients on top were plentiful and good, the pizzas were generally reasonably priced, and the fried pizzas were very good, crispy, and not greasy.

08/02/2026: Pizzeria right off Piazza Santo Oronzo, in true Neapolitan style and flavor. A very beautiful and characteristic place with both indoor and outdoor seating. Very friendly staff, attentive to every need. The pizzas are excellent, and the service is quick. The only flaw, in my opinion, is the price of a portion of fittini, €10.50, which seems excessive. The homemade ones are okay, but they consisted of 10 pieces at most (panzerotti, arancini-style meatballs, and pasta frittatas). Pizza prices are normal.
29/01/2026: A very nice place practically in Piazza Sant'Oronzo. The pizzas and desserts are very good, although one pizza was a bit burnt (it can happen). The service is friendly and attentive. Prices are a bit high, but we're right in the center.

Pasticceria Turi

20/10/2025: We've read rave reviews about this pastry shop's pasticciotti, but we haven't had a chance to try them yet. We were on vacation in Salento and stopped by the Turi pastry shop on purpose. It was 10:30 in the morning, and we asked for two pasticciotti. They looked at us like aliens because we'd have to reserve them at that time, and they advised us to reserve them and come back the next day. After all, we should have realized their products are artisanal. Now, I understand fine pastry making and craftsmanship, but given the profusion of pastries and cakes on display, should I have assumed that the ones on display weren't artisanal? If the pasticciotto is their flagship product, how is it possible that it's already sold out by mid-morning? Speaking with friends, they happened to have the pasticciotti, but since they wanted six to take away, even though they were available, they didn't give them to them because they hadn't reserved them.
Anyway, we opted for the fruttoni, which were very good, by the way.
24/09/2025: It's been a few months, but I wanted to write this review. The cake is gorgeous and delicious, and it matched perfectly with the colors my daughter chose for her confirmation. The donuts, too, were delicious, nice and fresh, and a great alternative for those who didn't want cake or for younger children.

07/10/2024: Clienti assidui quando vogliamo un buon aperitivo. Prodotti ottimi e paninetti superlativi, ogni cosa e’ preparata con dedizione e criterio: nulla al caso. Prezzi molto buoni, un aperitivo 8€ e 4 uno spritz. Lo consiglio vivamente!
20/08/2024: Posto di cacca atomico. Il cameriere è davvero una brutta persona. Volevamo uno spritz e alla sua domanda:"volete stuzzicare?" rispondiamo erroneamente sì. Ci porta un aperitivo per due. Cosa che non ci andava e non abbiamo chiesto. Servirebbe o un corso di analisi del testo o un corso di recupero mentale per una persona del genere. Non era neppure il proprietario che voleva fregare soldi, semplicemente il cameriere si diverte a prendere in giro la gente, infatti quando abbiamo detto che avevamo detto di stuzzicare la sua risposta è stata: "Qui stuzzicare è questo", nel mentre si allontanava guardandoci, senza chiedere scusa o cosa ci fosse di sbagliato. L'aveva palesemente fatto apposta. Purtroppo quanto scritto non descrive bene po' stato d'animo, un'esperienza così spiacevole soprattutto perché conoscenti del cameriere in questione... Senza parole, non andateci
