27/08/2025: The San Michele restaurant is a true gem. As soon as we sat down, we felt welcomed and pampered by the kind and attentive service. The homemade antipasto was a journey through authentic traditional flavors, made with fresh and genuine ingredients. The orecchiette with lamb sauce took us back to Sunday family lunches: expertly made pasta and a rich, intense sauce, simply unforgettable. The perfectly cooked tagliata steak melted in the mouth, accompanied by golden, crispy French fries that are unforgettable. All this was complemented by a glass of excellent red wine, completing a truly exquisite culinary journey. We spent €63, but the quality and attention to detail are worth much more: an experience that will remain in the heart and that we recommend to anyone who wants to experience authentic cuisine with passion.

25/10/2025: The place looks welcoming at first glance, and the dishes we ordered were good, but the level of cleanliness of the place and the bathrooms makes you think twice and be a bit wary of who goes there while eating. I wouldn't return.

01/09/2025: Since it changed ownership a few months ago, the quality has plummeted. The pizza is on par with a piadina; if they weren't making it behind the counter, you'd think it was frozen. The hamburger buns are simply laughable. $3.50 for a bun wrapped in foil, with a burger that's tough and thin enough to be used as a Frisbee. The fries are the usual frozen ones, but filled with so much oil that they ruin them. The atmosphere is nice. If the other pizzerias within a 3km radius are closed, it's a valid alternative to fasting.

22/09/2025: A typical Italian trattoria. Limited seating, a limited menu, and excellent dishes. Friendly and courteous service. Fair prices: €20 for a tourist menu is perfectly fine.

27/07/2025: Nothing to say about the location or the service... But unfortunately, I notice that the place is often empty, and it's easy to understand why. In a place like Monte Sant'Angelo, prices like those in Milan are a bit excessive. A platter of cured meats and cheeses, €18, may seem like a great deal, but the quantity is really small; like a schiacciata with oil and oregano, €9... €9 is a lot.
I'm not arguing with the quality, as it's average, but the prices are really high. Going out for a simple aperitivo and spending €30 per person is definitely not an option.

22/09/2024: Siamo capitati in questo “ristorante “ per caso, cibo di gomma, dimenticanze da parte del rude personale. Da evitare. Il cameriere tocca i piatti con il proprio sudore e anche una signora senza denti che ha affermato che il ristorante è molto quotato, cosa non vera vedendo le recensioni. Poi ci sarà vicino al forno un campanello che suonerà continuamente, disturbando il pasto. Posate sporche e mancanti sui tavoli

14/08/2024: Rapporto qualità /prezzo pessimo. Servizio discutibile e il meglio del meglio è la scelta arbitraria dello chef che invece di comunicare che il piatto scelto non ha uno dei due ingredienti principali, di modo che tu possa, al limite scegliere un altro piatto dal menu, te lo prepara come vuole lui con altri ingredienti, snaturando il piatto stesso e facendotelo pagare a prezzo intero. La pasta scotta che galleggia in una marea di pesto di rucola e pomodorini acidi. Vino rosso della casa acidulo (non lo abbiamo bevuto). Avete presente i ristoranti italiani dozzinali all’estero che di italiano hanno molto poco? Ecco, l’esperienza è la stessa. Consiglio allo chef di cambiare mestiere.

13/05/2025: Ho avuto il piacere di poter festeggiare la comunione di mia figlia e ci siamo trovati benissimo abbiamo mangiato tanto e bene ricevendo i complimenti di tutti gli invitati menù ricco e prezzo adeguato. Siamo stati trattati molto bene e serviti altrettanto bene non è mai mancato nulla a tavola e ogni richiesta diversa e insolita è stata soddisfatta. Una particolare attenzione è stata posta anche nei confronti di soggetti allergici o intolleranti senza rinunciare al gusto. Insomma posso ritermi pienamente soddisfatto

20/04/2025: È stato tutto impeccabile, dai piatti, la loro qualità, il luogo predominante d’eccellenza, il servizio, la gentilezza, la massima efficienza con cui sono arrivate le portate, l’educazione maniacale (e considerando che ci sono stata a Pasqua io non mi aspettavo questo trattamento e qualità di prodotti)
.
Consiglio vivamente questa trattoria, non solo per il luogo in sé, pazzesco e unico di suo, ma soprattutto per la cordialità del personale e la qualità eccellente del cibo. Semplicemente delizioso.
Da ritornare ogni volta che si può perché non ci si può pentire!

17/06/2025: Nos decidimos por este restaurante al azar, ya que había aparcamiento cerca y estaba lloviendo. Bonito y luminoso restaurante con un buen menú. Nos gustó el hecho de que había un código QR para descargar el menú en inglés. Las pizzas eran sabrosas y las salsas de patata eran preciosas. Sin embargo, estaba ocupado y nos sentimos tratados como ciudadanos de segunda clase. No recibimos pan como lo hicieron las otras mesas, el servicio fue lento y nos sortearon en numerosas ocasiones. Dejamos de esperar a que alguien tomara un pedido de postre. Decepcionante de verdad.
05/05/2025: Ristorante panoramico e molto bello. Il cibo lascia molto a desiderare, guardate la foto risotto con i gamberi ma forse erano ancora nel mare. In pratica risotto con odore di gamberi. Assolutamente sconsigliato.

27/06/2025: TERRIFICANTE! Quando abbiamo chiamato per prenotare ci è stato detto che era l’ unico tavolo rimasto disponibile e quando siamo arrivati io locale era praticamente quasi vuoto. Solo 6 persone. Abbiamo preso primi di pesce ed erano praticamente insapore. La cosa peggiore le pizze, definirle uguali alle congelate è un complimento. Praticamente immangibili. Abbiamo chiesto al cameriere se lui avrebbe mangiato la pizza che ci ha portato (e lasciata intera) e la risposta è stata: NON LO SO! E con questo è tutto!
