I've had the opportunity to try both the panzerotti shop and the restaurant, and each time the experience has been exceptional. The panzerotti are simply spectacular: perfectly cooked, with very little oil and a generous filling that allows you to fully savor them. The variety is incredible, with always well-chosen ingredients and surprising combinations, making every bite a true delight. The restaurant, which I've tried for both lunch and dinner, never disappoints. From appetizers to desserts, every course is carefully prepared, flavorful, and capable of surprising you with its quality and authenticity. The staff and the owner are friendly, kind, and always available, ready to offer advice and make the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant is very well laid out: the main section is located on a small balcony overlooking the splendid view of Mattinata, with the sea visible in the distance, making summer dinners unforgettable. There's also a small indoor dining room, perfect for those seeking a more intimate atmosphere, and the overall design is tastefully crafted, simple yet elegant, enhancing the experience without being invasive. In short, Gli Artigiani del Gusto is one of those places that stays in your heart: quality, authentic flavors, a unique view, and a family-like welcome that always makes you feel at home. 14/06/2026: Excellent lunch break. Professional and friendly staff. Well-prepared, high-quality dishes. Cool atmosphere with a stunning sea view. Sore point of the day: The umbrellas were too close together, in my opinion. Not enough space for sun/shade. You were practically touching the loungers of the neighboring umbrellas. I won't be returning for this reason! The bar staff is young, and I understand, but excuse me if I may, please teach someone how to froth milk. Served "liquid" and piping hot.

09/06/2026: Good food, nice beach and not too expensive, shame about the proximity to the free beach where obviously you find mystical characters with boxes every meter and monkey screams, but otherwise it's okay

21/08/2025: A pleasant discovery, unfortunately, at the end of our holiday. Generous and tasty dishes with excellent value. A panoramic location with a romantic and refined atmosphere, ideal for both couples and evenings with friends. One tip: make the most of the terrace.

20/05/2026: We ordered pizza to our campsite via WhatsApp. It was so easy and straightforward. The pizza and bruschetta were absolutely delicious. I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't feel like going to a restaurant in the rain in the evening. It was the perfect solution for us.

04/06/2026: A restaurant in a charming location just a few meters from the sea, actually right on the sea. Courteous and friendly staff, an unfriendly and sullen owner, no welcome at the table, and no thank you after payment—failed. Let's look at the menu: a seafood appetizer with very few dishes, and above all, tasteless, I'd say watered down. The oil used is similar to soybean oil, judging by the color, density, and especially the flavor. I'll start by saying I only use Gargano oil, and I must say that it's not permitted to use that oil for cooking or serving. Again, the owner is unfriendly when it comes to the welcome, and for the price—for two, an appetizer, two "passable" first courses, a "U5" fried calamari, and a bottle of wine for €22—a total of €95. The food in the area is definitely better, and the service is excellent.
