01/01/2025: Without a doubt the location is beautiful, like the view that can be admired from the splendid veranda overlooking an expanse of olive groves that end in the sea. And the sea is the protagonist of the menu of this restaurant which offers real delicacies balancing the sea and the land as in the best Apulian menus. Everything is fresh and delicious, genuine. The service is excellent. A place to return to.

07/10/2024: Friendly restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. Bruschetta, steak and orechiette alla mattinatese were very tasty and the price was absolutely reasonable. You can sit in a cozy atmosphere in the small alley with the steps.

The food is definitely good, the pizzas excellent, well seasoned, thin
- my favorites -, the staff is very courteous and professional, if you want to make a small negative note you can make it regarding the lack of beers on tap - even if those offered in bottles are good - and a menu whose proposals - moreover good - they deserve some news.

Great service!
23/10/2024: We only stopped by for a cappuccino and espresso on the way from Manfredino to Vestia, but the apparently family-run restaurant makes a very good impression. And the view is fantastic.
It's worth making a stop here. Next time we'll feast here.

I wasn't expecting such an incredible voyage of flavours, colours and textures. A work of art. The only remark I had was that the bread in the small fishes' course got completely soaked in vinegar and it was just too sour. Great experience, I'll come back. Also beautiful location.

21/10/2024: Siamo stati accolti con professionalità e gentilezza. Il menù è da gustare in tutte le voci e non si rimane mai delusi. Ci sono antipasti che non si trovano da altre parti, buoni e unici. Consiglio di andarci più volte per variare le portate. Ottima scelta.

04/01/2025: Place located above the beach, so the view and scent of the sea accompanied the dinner. The pizza was good (both the dough and the raw materials) as was the seafood appetizer.
However, the service needs to be improved a bit... 20 minutes of waiting to get the menus (and the place was half empty) and one of the 4 pizzas was wrong, 5 minutes to convince us that the mistake was how we had asked for the pizza then when I asked for the menu it was obvious that the mistake was made by whoever had taken the order...
27/09/2024: Ottimo lido, parcheggio con navetta, ottimo ristorante il ristorante,uno degli ultimi lidi verso la fine della spiaggia di mattinata, mare cristallino, gente educata, ottima la situazione dopo pranzo, all’esterno del ristorante, per bere un buon drink

I repeat, even with the autumn coolness, Il Giardino del Monsignore is always a good choice, never a wrong one, with top quality raw materials, extremely fresh fish and elegant, full-bodied dishes. Highly recommended!!!❤️
08/01/2025: Abbiamo pranzato durante il periodo natalizio e siamo andati via senza parole per il prezzo pagato e per quello che abbiamo mangiato : primi piatti con due cozze dal sapore disgustoso e due gusci di lupini buttati nel piatto ( euro 18) , gamberi dal colore improbabile , pezzetti minuscoli di pseudo baccalà mollo e senza sapore come antipasto , fritturine in tempura di SOLE carote alla julienne senza nemmeno una traccia di seppie o polipo , come una volta . Nel ristorante c’erano almeno un centinaio di persone e noi abbiamo avuto la sensazione che ci abbiano rifilato gli avanzi del congelatore . Resta solo un bel posto con vista sul mare che comunica però una sensazione di abbandono diffuso, sia all’interno che all’esterno ( vegetazione fuori controllo, foglie secche ovunque , arredi lasciati lì dall’estate ) . Eppure la clientela non manca perciò non c’è giustificazione ad una tale caduta di stile e di qualità dell’offerta.
