The desserts, made directly by the inn, were exquisite and a fitting end to an excellent dinner. The staff was extremely kind and professional, from the telephone reservation to the welcome at the table. The waiters listed the dishes with passion and expertise, making the choice even more enjoyable. The location is unique and charming, located in the heart of Mattinata's historic center. The covered terrace, enclosed by glass windows, made for a warm and welcoming evening, despite the weather outside being less than ideal. Special highlights: the local scaldatelli, the delicious olives, the chilled sparkling water, and the impeccable presentation of the dishes. A place I highly recommend and will definitely return to. 13/12/2025: A truly positive experience. The freshest fish, cooked to perfection. The homemade desserts are also highly recommended. In winter, the warm atmosphere creates a Christmassy atmosphere. In spring and summer, the terrace with its breathtaking views of the Gargano offers a romantic and evocative setting.

The small kitchen is the true added value: quick but well-designed dishes, combining flavor and lightness. Perfect to accompany a glass of wine or an expertly crafted cocktail. The pairings surprise without ever overdoing it, maintaining an elegant and convivial style. The service is young and dynamic, with friendly staff who know how to offer advice and create the right welcoming atmosphere. Barboni di Lusso is a new addition to Mattinata's offerings: ideal for a refined breakfast, a light lunch, or a delicious aperitif. A place that successfully combines style, quality, and identity, it fully deserves its four-star rating.

22/09/2025: A place you wouldn't expect, discovered by chance, that leaves you with a smile of warmth and satisfaction. We tried it for a "dressed" aperitivo, a sort of anthology of authentic Apulian foods and small delicacies from the kitchen, both hot and cold. The drinks are absolutely well-made and generous. All at a price you won't find anywhere else. The service is quick, friendly, and pleasant. It's impossible not to highly recommend it. PS: The name is beautiful, great guys!

04/10/2025: I spent €26 for a mixed seafood grill (as pictured), water, and cover charge. The wait was a bit long and the prices were a bit above average for the area, but the quality of the fish and the perfect cooking made for a decidedly positive experience. Recommended for those looking for well-prepared seafood dishes and fresh ingredients, regardless of the final bill.

The owner was welcoming and courteous. Beautiful location in the very characteristic historic center. Fair prices. Highly recommended.

13/01/2026: LOCATION: The Lido Giardino di Monsignore Pizzeria and Restaurant is located in Contrada Torre del Porto in Mattinata. A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: This restaurant is well-known among tourists and locals alike. When you arrive, you can enjoy an incredible view of the sea. Especially at sunset, when the sun disappears behind the rocks, the sea is tinged with various colors. On the several occasions I've been, I've enjoyed both the fish-based first and second courses, as well as the pizzas. Each dish reflects the tradition of the Gargano. The restaurant has ample parking, a significant detail in an area that's very busy during the summer months. The photographs I took are testimonies that tell a story, more than a thousand words. FUN FACT: DID YOU KNOW THAT...? The Port Tower was one of the ancient coastal towers built in the 16th century to guard against Ottoman pirate raids.
