We arrive and they tell us that there are no tables reserved.
There may be a mistake, but the unfriendly and haughty attitude of the owner's wife makes you shudder! He left us outside saying that the room was full like a private club and I would like to point out that there were small children and with the road nearby, there was no point in making us wait outside like dogs.

30/07/2024: On holiday in the area, and recommended by a friend, I went with my family to this restaurant, fish starters with attention to detail, and cooked well, excellent quality of raw materials, we asked what was in the catch of the day, at various proposals we chose a turbot (1kg), cooked in the oven with olives and potatoes, an amazing result, you can feel the hand of an expert chef. The welcome in the room was the best, the waitress Debora stood out for her professionalism. good pizza (taken by the children) highly recommended, we will be back.

10/10/2024: Pranzo in famiglia, location rustica e carina ma non indimenticabile.
Il cibo era squisito in quasi tutte le portate ed era ben servito.
Personale disponibile e simpatico.
Sicuramente torneremo appena ne avremo l’opportunità.
07/10/2024: A pranzo in famiglia abbiamo preso cozze ripiene e seppie tagliate. Le cozze enormi e ripienissime molto buone, le seppie mai mangiate così molto sfiziose; poi orecchiette alle cime, abbondanti e al dente, con una frittura calamari e gamberi con una grigliata mista. Forse il pesce della grigliata era leggermente secco ma può essere un impressione. Servizio impeccabile.. che dire , in un oasi bellissima di quella zona del Gargano tra il lago e il mare, direi un posto da provare assolutamente.

26/08/2024: Frequentiamo Foce Varano da quarant’anni e trascorriamo qui tutte le estati. Abbiamo scoperto questo posto appena aperto qualche anno fa restando piacevolmente sorpresi e promuovendolo a tutti i nostri conoscenti . Finalmente un posto carino, accogliente e dove si mangiasse bene da queste parti con una meravigliosa vista sul lago. Personale attento e accogliente. Siamo tornati quest’anno felici di portare degli amici Veneti ma siamo rimasti molto delusi dalle quantità e dalla varietà. Cibo sicuramente genuino ma le porzioni negli anni decisamente ridotte. L’antipasto, sempre stato da noi molto apprezzato, quest’anno ridotto sia nel numero di portate che nella quantità (una fettina di zucchina, un peperoncino, due cozze, tre pezzetti di polpo con le patate, un po’ di barba del prete, un pezzetto di formaggio a testa). Anche le pettole e le pizzette (molto buone) che usano portare al posto del pane negli anni decisamente diminuite. Tutto buono ma che ad oggi non giustifica più il rapporto qualità prezzo. Speriamo si sia trattato solo di una serata di fine agosto. Proveremo a dare un’atra opportunità.
25/08/2024: Bel posticino sul lago Varano, servizio cordiale. Ottimo antipasto vario e pesce fresco. Buona scelta di vini senza devastare il portafoglio. Conto nella media, i liquori da loro fatti sono ottimi, fossero offerti ancora meglio.

The troccoli al scoglio are amazing.
The cuttlefish stuffed with sauce is delicious.
All seasoned with precise and friendly service.
I always come back willingly.

22/09/2024: Very unique pizza with a thick base. We really enjoyed this one. The operator was very helpful, we were on the bike and waited at the entrance for us to find him. The terrace between the buildings is of course not that nice, but that didn't bother us because there were few guests at the time.
08/09/2024: Pre-cooked and fairly tasty food. Nothing special

21/08/2023: Molto suggestivo il posto, all'aperto nel centro storico. Cordiale il personale e apprezzabili le portate (assolutamente da provare il polpo cotto a bassa temperatura con fave e cicoria).
Torneremo sicuramente.
17/08/2023: Accogliente e particolare il locale seppur piccolo ma in perfetta sintonia con il luogo in cui si trova; gentilissimo il proprietario e squisita la carne servita!

30/08/2023: We were in Foce on holiday for just over two weeks, they were a certainty and they never disappointed us: delicious pizzas, slices and desserts, all fresh and prepared by them🩷 set breakfast

29/06/2024: Eravamo 4 amici al bar che volevano cambiare il mondo,,,,, ma alla fine ci siamo ritrovati alla tavola calda di Antonio, eeeee ci siamo? Detti perché non mangiare un super pollo? Ed. È lì che ci siamo stravoli la Serata, tutto buono👍
