04/10/2025: We felt completely at home at Masseria Palombara — it was a true reprieve, and we felt deeply cared for even though there was a little difficulty during check in. Everything was smoothed out in a short amount of time. The grounds are stunning and have a magical, peaceful quality that immediately puts you at ease. Our cooking class was a highlight — we learned to make orecchiette, a local eggplant dish, and tiramisu, and even made new friends along the way. Chef Fouzia and her wonderful assistant Mesi were so warm, patient, and engaging. Francesca, the manager, was incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring every detail of our stay was perfect. The entire staff went above and beyond — Ishmael was always smiling and ready with excellent local recommendations, and Pasquale made the best Old Fashioned I’ve ever had. The hammam felt otherworldly, and our massages left us feeling renewed and deeply relaxed. We’re so grateful for their hospitality and can’t recommend this place enough — truly a 10/10 experience in every way.

28/09/2025: I had an amazing stay at Massera Palombara. It was a truly high end and personalized experience. The atmosphere was serene and relaxing, the perfect setting to disconnect and enjoy. Francesca was absolutely lovely, attentive and warm, making everything feel effortless and tailored. The dinner staff, especially Fabio, went above and beyond. His service and attention to detail made every meal exceptional. Everything from the ambiance to the hospitality was outstanding. I recommend Massera Palombara for anyone looking for the best welcoming retreat.

17/08/2025: The evening was ruined by terrible service, to say the least. We were served by an embarrassing waiter who kept making unpleasant and meaningless jokes. He started by telling us that the octopus was out and that he obviously had nothing to do with it and therefore didn't want to make a fool of himself. When we asked for missing cutlery and glasses, he always responded arrogantly. The professionalism was absolutely zero. The cuisine was mediocre. We ordered four plates of grilled picanha, and more than half of it was greasy. I'm very sorry, but I absolutely do not recommend this place.

14/08/2025: The restaurant is well-presented, with elegant furnishings and a pleasant atmosphere, and friendly and helpful service. The start was truly promising: the crispy chips, perfectly golden, proved to be the perfect appetizer. The meatballs, soft and flavorful, confirmed the initial good impression. Then came the roasted octopus... and that's when the magic ended. Aside from a touch of salt, it was practically bland, lacking the intense flavor you expect from such a dish. The texture made things worse: hard, rubbery, and difficult to chew, making the dish more of a test of endurance than a pleasure. A real shame, because with a little more attention to cooking and seasoning, it could have been as good as the rest.

12/07/2025: I recently had dinner with friends. I highly recommend it! The food quality and cooking are top-notch, even the raw seafood is truly fresh! Impeccable service. The atmosphere is intimate and familiar. I recommend it for a romantic dinner or even with friends. If I'm back in the area, I'll gladly stop by.

05/07/2025: Mi hanno consigliato questo ristorante a oria se volevamo mangiar del buon pesce fresco , Abbiamo ordinato del crudo di mare e qualche antipasto “ eviterei di scrivere qualche “piatti fatti veramente con sapori puliti e preparati anche agli occhi ,la scelta del primo dopo il consiglio di Salvatore e di un spaghetto allo scorfano scelto nella vetrina vasta di pesce fresco , waaaoooo che bontà !!! Chiudiamo con un gran piatto mix di dolci e frutta, complimenti. Consiglio veramente

25/08/2025: My family and I decided to have dinner one evening. Ridiculous portions...a paltry grilled meat and ridiculous side dishes (two tiny slices of zucchini and two of eggplant). Very mediocre for a total of €64 for 4 people. Avoid, go elsewhere.

19/08/2025: Terrible experience. Ordered 1 mixed roast (very poor), 1 roasted bombette (raw), 1 mixed appetizer in mini pebbles, 1 first course (5 gnocchi), and grilled Erudire (five mini zucchini slices and three eggplant slices). The quality/price ratio was absolutely inadequate. Avoid.

15/09/2025: We only had the pizza, the classic thin crust one, but it was delicious! The interior is truly beautiful and well-kept. Outside, there's a garden where various events can be celebrated. Everything is lit up with fairy lights. We'll be back!
