05/07/2026: I've been here two years in a row. This year I came back because my friends and I had good memories, but unfortunately it was anything but pleasant. We dined outside, and after dinner, we needed to use the bathrooms inside. Five of us went upstairs to the first floor of the restaurant where the bathroom is, and we were yelled at like 10-year-olds because, "You can't have so many people go upstairs to use the bathroom." This was just one of the things a guy who works there shouted at us, and he had no respect for us, perhaps thinking we were talking to some of his friends from his group. After we tried to explain that no one had told us it couldn't be done (not even if we'd decided to play hide-and-seek inside the restaurant), he continued to raise his voice in front of all the customers... shame on them and the embarrassment THEY made in front of everyone. After paying the bill, we got up to leave, and as we were walking away, this very nice and polite young man started asking his colleague loudly if we had gotten up without paying. I don't think there's a greater lack of respect towards a customer who is paying for a service that YOU should be able to provide at your best. I emphasize that we are nine 30-year-olds who have always worked in the restaurant industry and who know very well what respect is and how to show it. Perhaps you should review your staff, because unfortunately, you're losing a lot of points because of this. The only positive note is the girls in the dining room, who were professional.

05/07/2026: The food was quite good, but the experience was completely ruined by the treatment we received from the staff inside. The girls who served us were always kind and helpful. When it was time to use the bathroom, we were stopped and rudely yelled at, in a completely inappropriate tone. Shortly afterward, a very young waiter came up to check on us, questioning us for no reason, and then raised his voice at one of us. There were nine of us at a table of six, but we didn't cause any problems or make any demands. We had already paid the bill, and as we were leaving, the same waiter loudly asked a colleague if we had paid, making us feel further accused. We're a group of quiet adults; we waited a long time for both our table and our pizzas: truly rude and inexcusable treatment.

10/06/2026: I went with my daughter without reading any reviews too closely. We didn’t know what to expect and we were both a bit alarmed when a succession of various cuts of meat started to arrive. The quality was exceptional and Michele was very welcoming and highly personable. I was a bit sceptical about red wine served cold, but it worked. We ended up taking quite a lot home, but it was not wasted. Great value for money. Will definitely go back next time we’re in Acquaviva!

But be prepared to be guided along a predetermined path by owner Michele, who manages everything from the wine to the meat. He offers a tourist menu for everyone, where meat reigns supreme in a variety of ways, including scaloppine. You sit down and eat without any options; anything you don't eat is wrapped up and taken home.

22/11/2025: The place is small, definitely better enjoyed on nice days, where you can enjoy the small outdoor square, but it's always worth a visit, even if only for the specialties. The cartellata al vincolo, with ricotta and pear gelato, and the Sicilian cannoli with pistachio gelato and cannolo-flavored gelato!!! Truly delicious. The cream is exquisite, and the owner and his son are so kind. We'll be back!

07/07/2026: Everything was excellent, from appetizers to dessert. The pizza dough was delicious and easy to digest, even though it was Naples. Parking was also easy.

09/04/2026: In a small but charming setting, right in the historic center, a small restaurant with very friendly service. Their specialty is spaghetti all'assassina (10 out of 10). The bread balls in tomato sauce are excellent, and the bruschetta is very special; I would have preferred it crispier, but it's excellent. The tiramisu is very good. Reasonable prices. The dozens of pizza varieties, made with an electric oven, are worth trying.

We tried a truly excellent sliced ​​steak, tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The pizza deserves a special mention: cooked in a wood-fired oven, with well-crafted dough and quality ingredients that truly make the difference. During the evening, we spoke with the owner, Carmine, who passionately told us about his 31 years of experience in this business—a long journey that shows in the dishes, the organization, and the customer service. A word of advice: follow his suggestions, because he knows how to guide you perfectly when choosing between pizza, meat, and the other options on the menu. If you're passing through Acquaviva delle Fonti, it's one of those places that's definitely worth a try. Quality, experience, and a friendly atmosphere: ingredients that make you want to come back again and again.

05/05/2026: I would have expected more from this place. Excellent food and excellent pizza, a little limited in the variety of appetizers, but still good. The service was very slow, especially with the pizzas, some of which got lost on the way from the oven to the tables...

02/06/2026: Are you kidding me? The lady at the cash register is a kleptomaniac. I bought 3 panzerotti and 2 waters. The first bill was 3 euros more. I told her she was wrong, and she re-billed it for 1 euro more. When I told her again and verbally tallied the bill, she got impatient, took the money without a receipt, and ignored us when we said goodbye. Needs treatment!!!!
